“Thank you.” I give him another hug. My heart is so full, it hurts. Luca really has made all of my dreams come true.

Istealthilyfollowmysister, Aria, trying to convince myself I’m projecting my worries for my wife onto her. Except, I’m not worried about Aly. She’s safely tucked away, and I have cameras on her at all times. After all, she is carrying my baby. She deserves protection.
My sister is acting sketchy as hell. She’s wearing a baseball cap, its brim pulled down as far as it can go. Her body twitches, and she keeps checking over her shoulder.
Since the night Mancini tried to kill her, she’s been off. My phone buzzes in my pocket. Slipping it out, I try to keep my eye on the phone and my sister.
Aly: This is not a drill. My water broke.
Cursing to hell, I slip my phone back into my pocket. My sister is gone from my view, and I can’t wait around to put Vinny on her trail. I make a mental note to look into what she’s hiding once my baby is born.
Stopping, I circle around. I’m the only one back here now. Shaking my head, I jog back to my car. All of my thoughts are on Aly, needing to be there for her.
Gunning the gas, I’m anxious to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. I still have a hard time believing I’m having a kid. I never thought I would find someone compatible with me. When thinking of the future, I expected to take over the Rossi family business but then give it back to the firstborn son of my sisters. Children were never a thought in my mind.
Aly makes me see a future past myself for the first time in my life. Even as a young boy, I honestly never expected to live past my youth. But here I am, ready for my next chapter. Prepared and ready to defend my family against anyone who tries to hurt them.
