“Online? That sounds kind of sketch, don’t you think?”

“It’s not like that. I trust him.”

“Does Tristian know?”

Her question caught me off guard. “Why does that matter?”

She shrugged. “I don’t know. I guess I see the way he looks at you.”

“Looks at me?”

“Yeah, with this like longing or something.”

“I’ve never noticed that.”

“I pick up on random things. It’s a blessing and a curse.”

I chuckled. “How often do you catch him looking at me?”

“At least once a day.”

“What?” I jerked back. “Really?”

“Yeah.”

“Why didn’t you ever say anything?”

“I thought you knew.”

“I didn’t.”

“Don’t your families hate each other, though?”

“Yeah.”

“Wow. The plot thickens. Now you’re meeting up with another guy. This should be interesting.”

“Tristian probably isn’t here.”

“Are you kidding? He comes to all the games. He has to show up for his pussy parade.”

“Oh, great…”

“Wait?” She glanced at me. “Do you like him?”

“I’m not sure.”

“That’s a yes. You’re just scared to admit it.”

I frowned.

“Don’t kill the messenger. See, I told you. Being intuitive. It’s a blessing and a curse.”

“What should I do? I like them both.”

“This is going to sound cliché, but I’d go with whoever makes your heart skip a beat.”

“That might be the most cliché thing anyone has ever said to me.”
