My breath hitched, waves of pleasure building inside me as I rocked above him with reckless abandon.

“Would you like that, Peyton?” he crooned. “Would you like me to fuck you?”

“Yes… yes.” I was close. The feel of Xander’s dick pressed up against me combined with his dirty words detonated inside me.

“Imagine I’m inside you, imagine me filling you… stretching you…” His mouth moved to my ear, teeth grazing the sensitive skin there. My fingers clutched his hoodie tighter as my body began to tremble.

“Look at me,” Xander’s hand slipped around the back of my neck again, threading into my hair, anchoring me in place as he stared into my eyes. “I want to see you fall apart.” He thrust up and it was enough to make me shatter.

The wave crashed over me and I cried out, my chest heaving as pleasure radiated deep inside me.

Dragging his thumb over my bottom lip, Xander inhaled a ragged breath. “Beautiful,” he whispered, burying me against his chest.

I didn’t know how long we stayed like that, but when he finally nudged me away, my heart had calmed, and the lust had cooled between us.

“I should probably—” I went to clamber off his lap, but his hand shot out, clamping around my waist.

“What—”

Xander’s mouth crashed down on mine, kissing me with so much intensity I felt winded.

When he pulled away, I was flushed all over and breathless again.

“Come on,” he said with a knowing smirk. “I’ll take you back.”

Ellis: What are you doing for your birthday?

I rolled onto my back, unable to stop grinning at Xander’s message. After he’d given me a ride back to the house last night, he’d asked for my cell phone and saved his number under Ellis.

When I’d asked him why Ellis, he informed me it was his middle name.

Me: Lily and Ashleigh are insisting we go for lunch at Sprinkles and then I have a shift at the diner.

Much to Lily’s disappointment. But I’d told her—and the rest of her family—that I didn’t want any fuss. It was almost Christmas. People had enough to worry about in the way of buying gifts and celebrations, to be worrying about my birthday as well.

Besides, I wasn’t sure I could handle being the center of attention for the day.

Ellis: Do you think you can escape for a couple of hours after work?

I bit my lip.

Me: Why, what did you have in mind?

Ellis: It’s a surprise. What time do you get off?

Me: Seven.

Cindyalways closed early on Christmas Eve to give her staff time with their families.

Ellis: I’ll pick you up.

Me: I’ll meet you. Your place?

My cell started vibratingand I hit answer.

“I don’t like the idea of you walking across town by yourself.” Xander practically growled the words. I had to smother a chuckle at his overprotectiveness.
