“I’ll admit, I’ve never had a massage before, but that will not be my last,” Noah says on the way back up to our hotel room.

“I agree. I’m not usually up for other people touching me, but I feel like Calgon took me away.”

Noah laughs. “What?”

“You’ve never heard that expression before?”

He swipes the key card to unlock the door to our room. “No.”

“My mom used to say it all the time. It was some old-time slogan from a bubble bath or something.”

“I feel like they don’t make the slogans like they used to.” He pushes the door open for me to enter first.

“Definitely not.” I lie down on the bed and sigh in relaxed bliss.

Noah picks up the room service menu. “And now we eat.”

I sit up and rest my chin on his shoulder, peering over to see what I want to order. Sometimes I’m amazed how comfortable I am with Noah after only a couple months, but I guess we threw ourselves into this mess. Something about us being on the same side, on the same team, has brought us together.

He opts for a steak, and I order chicken. We pick two different potato options to share. Once Noah has called it in, I turn on the television.

“Should we binge-watch something?” I sign into my Netflix account.

He tugs at the belt of my robe. “I have something better in mind.”

I swat his hand. “The food is going to be here soon.”

“The food’s not going to be here for a while.” He makes quick work of the belt and his hands mold to my hips and brings me down on the mattress.

“I have no idea what you’re going to do without me when you leave. You seem to not be able to go a few hours without having sex.”

His hands slide between the terrycloth robe and my skin, and he hovers over me. “Believe me, I’ve thought about it every fucking day. It’s like I can’t breathe without you in the room.” His mouth descends on my neck, and he sprinkles little kisses on my skin.

My breathing grows shallow. I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that way.

I let him distract me from both of us having to come to reality and realize our little rendezvous is almost over.

His thigh spreads my legs apart and he situates himself between my legs.

I push his robe off his large shoulders, and he takes a moment to get his arms out and toss it away. He bends down and covers my nipple with his mouth, sucking and swirling my nipple with his tongue, while his other hand squeezes my other breast. The tip of his cock teases my opening.

“God, tell me this isn’t our last time together,” he murmurs.

I have no idea how to answer him, because it very well could be. So I decide to go with a hopeful answer. “We have all night.”

He raises his head and locks eyes with me. “You know what I mean. I want to take my time with you, make sure I’ve memorized and savored every inch of your body so I can relive it on those cold nights up north. When I know I’ll be wishing you were with me.”

I cling to him tighter, and his mouth covers mine, searing me with a kiss I’m certain to never forget.

His tongue slides against mine in a dance that we’ve perfected over the weeks, and he slides into me, unhurried. Maybe because we both know our time is coming to an end, but this time, we’re not fucking. The end goal is not an orgasm, but to savor each moment with each other, fearful of what happens when it’s over. Like cherishing your final few bites of the best dessert you’ve ever tasted.

His one hand grips my breast as he slides unhurriedly in and out of me, over and over. His tongue and mouth tease me with kisses, and he purposely hits every place he’s found over the weeks that drive me crazy. I grab his ass and squeeze as he continues to grind and thrust in and out of me.

Emotion swells in my chest until I think I might burst. “Oh, Noah.”

“I know,” he whispers.

There’s so much truth in those four words. As if we’re on the same page but can’t bear to say what we’re feeling.
