I let a small smile slid up my lips as I leaned my head down to her. "That was before this..." I pressed my mouth to hers to capture her lips with mine. She didn't kiss me back immediately but let out a small sigh like she'd been waiting all day for this moment. In a way, I suppose she was.
The hands on my chest crept up until they wrapped around my neck. She pressed herself more firmly against me and kissed me back for all she was worth. I let my hands drift up and down her back before settling on her butt. I groaned and tried to get even closer to her.
Fuck. Just kissing her was addicting. I couldn't tell if it was blood lust or regular lust that had me craving her, but one of them was responsible for what I did next.
As I grabbed one of her delectable thighs, I threw it over my hip and turned us so that her back was against the door. For a second, she let me hold her there, kissing me and rocking her hips in rhythm with mine. However, I was so caught up in her that I wasn't listening to her mind. So, when those hands that had been pulling me closer started to push me away, I let out a surprised grunt.
"What? What's wrong?" I tried to touch her face and get her to look at me, but she wouldn't.
"I can't. Just don't." She pushed me away and shook her head. Her blonde hair covered her face so I couldn't get a real read on her. "Please just go. I want to go to bed."
"But Piper..." I tried again, but she shut the door in my face. Huffing out a growl, I threw my hands up in the air and stomped down the hall. What the fuck had just happened?
