"Are you sure you don't want to go back to the room, pet?" Wynn purred, his presence pressing in around the room. "We could share a bottle back there."

Piper's lovely laughter filled my ears. "No, behave. You said you'd take me out. I don't want to go back to the room just yet. I practically live there now." A bit of bitterness leaked out of her voice.

Not that I blamed her. Living in such close quarters wasn't pleasant for either of us. It was probably about time we found somewhere more permanent to settle. Especially since Antoine had implied, it would be a while.

"Oh, there's Darren," Piper whispered, forgetting I could hear her just as easily as if she were right next to me. "Should we go say hello?"

Wynn chuckled. "He can hear you, love. Besides, let the man have his drink alone. There's a booth over there."

Piper hummed. "Alright, I guess you're right."

My eyes lifted to the mirror behind the bar. I tracked them as they walked behind me and over to a booth on the opposite side of the room. Piper wore the dress she bought but hadn't worn since we arrived. It clung to her form nicely, enveloping her body like it was meant for it. Her heels accentuated her legs and made her already perfect ass even better.

Wynn's hand slid down her mostly bare back and cupped her backside, giving me a smirk over his shoulder.

I didn't react, drinking from my tumbler as if I weren't bothered by his blatant attempt to rub her in my face.

Piper smacked his hand away, making me smirk.

"Here you go, honey." Trixie sat the wings in front of me and hovered for longer than needed. "Can I get you something else?"

A glance in the mirror told me Piper was listening. Her eyes darted in my direction every so often as if she were trying not to look.

I offered her a dazzling smile. "You get off at two, was it?"
