Antoine's pale gaze stayed on me for a moment longer. The only emotion I read in his gaze was suspicion. Did he think I had something to do with this? I dropped my eyes to the bed.
"Is this what you want, Piper?" Antoine asked, his voice carefully neutral. "To be with us both at the same time?"
Piper sucked in a breath, making my eyes lift slightly to see her face redden. "I was thinking more along the lines of something else..."
"Then, please elaborate," Antoine commanded, just a hint of his power pushing into the room. "Let there be no confusion between us."
I waited with bated breath for Piper to explain what she meant, but she didn't. Piper smacked Antoine on the chest and shifted to move out of his lap, his grip on her thighs instantly stopped her. "No," Piper wiggled in his lap, her voice hard. "If you're going to be a dick, forget it. You can just spend your time with Darren. I'll go find a movie to watch or something."
Antoine sighed, all the tension leaving his body. "My apologies. I did not mean to lose control like that. It has been a trying time."
Piper stopped trying to get away and stared down at him. "You know how much I hate when you use your powers on me without permission."
"I am aware. I apologize once more." Antoine dipped his head.
"If you know, then you shouldn't do it."
Why Antoine hadn't beat her ass red at her insolence was beyond me. She wasn't even talking back to me, and I wanted to spank her for being such a pain in the ass.
"Time passes quickly while we debate, Piper," Antoine reminded Piper pointedly. Piper didn't say anything, and he added, "Please."
Piper seemed to accept the plea because she relaxed. "Have you ever bitten someone while..." she paused and ducked her head, shy all of a sudden.
Antoine's lips curved up at the edges. "While inside of someone else? Why Piper...where could you have gotten such a naughty thought from?" Those icy orbs slid over to me.
I didn't bother to defend myself against the accusation in his eyes.
"It wasn't Darren's idea, so don't get mad at him." Piper snapped her fingers in front of Antoine's face. The only person who would ever get away with such an action alive or undead.
"Then let us put your new fantasy into reality before the sun takes away our time together." He lifted Piper up and out of the chair, bringing her over to the bed. Antoine sat her down beside me, not even causing the mattress to shift.
"Wait, wait." Piper held her hands up and turned to me. "You didn't even ask if Darren was okay with it?" Her cheeks were red as she said it, unable to meet my eyes.
Antoine glanced down at her and then over to me. "Well? What say you, Darren?"
I didn't need to think about it. The thought of being pressed against Piper's sweet body while Antoine fucked her and bit me was too much like a dream. My answer came out a scratchy stutter, "Yes. Yes. Please."
