“Really? You’re not mad at me? We could still be friends?”

“Sure,” he shrugged like it was nothing. It gave me pause. Shouldn’t he be at least a little angry? I gave him the impression I was into him just to make Lucas jealous.

“If you need some time away from me, I would totally understand.”

“Oh, Clem,” he put an arm over my shoulders and hugged me with a smile on his face. “I don’t need to spend time hating you. My ego is not that fragile.”

I didn’t miss the hint.

He came with me to my locker. A few minutes later he left to go to class but not before he hugged me again.

The emotion roller coaster I was riding was making me distracted. I was late for class. I rushed down the empty hallway. A door flung open and a hand I was very familiar with these days dragged me inside a small dark room. It was full of cleaning supplies.

Lucas closed the door behind me, then plastered my back to it. I couldn’t see his face clearly but I saw his clenched jaw, and it was enough for me to guess his mood.

“What are you doing?” I asked trying to hide my sudden arousal from being in that dark, narrow, lockedspace with him.

He was looking at me without moving. Without saying a word.

“Why do you have a key for this place?”

He placed his hands on the door, caging me. There was at least a step of empty space between us.

“I got the key from the previous captain of the football team, and he got it from your brother.”

His voice was lower than usual. He was in a bad mood. Was it because I refused to come with him to school today?

“And why are we here?” I asked nonchalantly, even though my mouth was dry. I felt something was about to happen. Something I was going to enjoy.

“I decided you’re deaf since you don’t understand a word I’m saying,” I felt his hot breath on my face. “So I’ll try something else. And I locked the door to calm your nerves. I don’t care if people see us. But I know you hate the thought of that.”

“What? No…,” I tried to explain, but he pushed my notebooks from my hands and they fell on the floor. I was in shock. He was never so abrupt with me. So rough. I squeezed my thighs with anticipation.

His eyes were deadly, and he scanned my cleavage. I was wearing a strapless dress. No bra. With one movement he pushed the top down. I looked down at my naked breasts to check the view. They looked good from where I was standing.

One second passed. Then five. Ten. He wasn’t making a move. I felt heat radiating from his body to mine and vice versa.

“Um, excuse me?” I half smiled.

He lifted his gaze to meet mine and licked his lips. He looked at me like he couldn’t decide if he wanted to yell at me or devour me.

“Are you out of your mind?” I obviously was, since I liked what we were doing. Last night when we slept together he didn’t touch me, even though I thought he would. I wanted him to. “I have to go to class.”

He rubbed on of my nipples with his thumb, and I moaned. I moved my hips forward, I needed to feel him pressed against me. I was met with more empty space between us.

“You are excused from that class,” he slowly slid his hand from my breast down to my stomach, pushing the top of my dress even lower, bellow my belly button. Wetness was pilling up between my legs. I remained silent, enjoying his touch.

He used his both hands to move the bottom of my dress up. It was now gathered around my waist.

He was testing me. He thought I would stop him, no doubt. When I didn’t, he cocked an eye brow.

“No questions? No arguments?” he asked, and I shook my head. He narrowed his eyes at me. “Good.”

He took a step closer. Our bodies almost touched. He lowered his head to my breasts, and I stopped breathing, waiting for his tongue on me. But then he changed his mind. He lifted his head back up and looked at me.

I felt his fingers tracing my ribs from both sides, and I trembled. He was moving so slow, I wanted to scream.

“Touch me,” I said looking him straight in the eye.
