Duncan wasn’t sure which woman to ogle. Hell, that had always been his problem, and why he hadn’t yet mated. Too many choices and they all looked good. And watching Harlee and Annmarie dance together sent his cock into a roaring erection.

Harlee walked toward them, her face flushed and a fine sheen of perspiration glistening on her skin. He wanted to lick those droplets off every inch of her, then slide his tongue into her pussy and eat her until she screamed and shifted into the lycan he knew her to be.

No creature as filled with sensuality as Harlee could be anything but lycan. Then again, Annmarie was a unique animal in her own right. Though vampire, and he typically had no desires for vamps, she was a hot one. A wild thing needing the right man to tame her. If only he were allowed to do so. He’d love to get her in a room, chain her up and give her the beast he knew she needed. Fucking her would be a once in a lifetime experience.

Harlee sat down, her breasts rising and falling against the thin silk top.

Adrian signaled for the waitress to bring another round of drinks.

“Had fun, did you?” Adrian asked.

She smiled. God she was breathtaking when she smiled. It lit up her entire face and made her eyes sparkle like emeralds. “I haven’t danced in ages and your cousin is a dynamo. It’s hard to keep up with her.”

Duncan had a feeling most people would find it difficult to keep up with Annmarie. He could, though. And then some. “You held your own just fine, lass.”

“Oh I don’t know about that. Just look at her. She’s so free-spirited.”

He turned around and searched the dance floor, finding Annmarie just at the edge of the throng of bodies gyrating to a jungle-like beat. She’d found two vamps to tangle with. One in front of her, one behind her, sandwiching her between them as she rubbed her breasts against one and her ass against the other. Her micro-miniskirt and barely-there top made her look wanton and untamed.

The men dancing with her knew it too. One skimmed the sides of her breasts, the one behind her lifted her skirt and squeezed her ass, then pressed his jean-clad erection against her. Annmarie’s head fell back on the man’s shoulder, her mouth opening and her tongue snaking over her bottom lip.

Duncan had never seen anything hotter. Or anything that pissed him off more. Hell, pretty soon they’d be fucking her right on the dance floor.

“Sonofabitch,” he muttered. “The bastards have their hands all over her.”

“So they do,” Adrian said. “Typical.”

Duncan craned his head around, irritated at Adrian’s amused look. “She’s your cousin. Aren’t you going to do something about it?”

Adrian shrugged. “Like what? She’s a grown woman. She does what she wants. And she can take care of herself. And it’s not like anyone can say anything to stop her.”

“Wanna bet?” Duncan was furious. He didn’t know why, but boiling rage churned inside him and he wanted to tear those two male vamps to shreds.

“Give it your best shot,” Adrian said.

Duncan rose and headed toward the throng of sweaty bodies undulating to the music. Stopping in front of Annmarie, he leveled a glare at the two vamps sandwiching her. They bared their fangs but wisely said nothing.

“Something you want, lycan?” Annmarie asked, flashing a dazzling smile.

“Yeah. I want you to stop dancing with these assholes.” Part of him couldn’t believe he’d said it. What the hell was wrong with him? Sex was a regular thing at Blood and Guts. Hell, he’d seen a lot more here than the little bout of foreplay Annmarie engaged in. Yet it still bugged him. And if there was one thing Duncan always listened to, it was his gut instinct. It had never been wrong before.

Annmarie turned to face him, hands on her hips, her full breasts thrusting out toward him as she caught her breath. “Why? You want to manhandle me instead?”

“Doubt you could handle it, lass,” he quipped. If she thought to challenge him into backing down, she’d chosen the wrong man.

“Lycans are forbidden to mix with vampires,” one of the vamps said.

Duncan leveled a growl in his direction. “And lycans are forbidden to kill vampires too. But I doubt there’s anyone here capable of stopping me from tearing you two to shreds. So get the fuck out of here before I decide to eat your scrawny asses.”

“Yeah. He’d rather eat me instead,” Annmarie said with a cocky grin then turned to her two dance partners. “Thanks for the dance, guys. I think I’ve been challenged, so I’ll catch up with you later.”

The two vamps grumbled, but obviously when Annmarie dismissed someone, they knew better than to argue. Glaring at Duncan, they moved away in search of easier pickings.

She arched a brow expectantly. “Okay, lycan. Now that you’ve got me, what do you intend to do with me?”

He had several ideas, none of them legal. But just then a slower song started, and he grabbed Annmarie, dragging her into his arms. “Let’s dance.”
