Scanning the room, she took a few steps back, then entered the throng of dancers. They’d simply think she was looking for a bathroom, even started to head in that direction just in case they were watching her.
She found the restrooms, all right, but there was no exit door anywhere. Hurriedly searching the rest of the club, she soon realized that the only door was the front door, and she couldn’t get to it without passing Adrian, Duncan and Annmarie.
Shit! She had to think, find a way out.
“Are you okay?”
The touch of a hand on her shoulder had her gasping in shock. She whipped around to find Annmarie standing there.
“I’m fine. Just…looking for the restroom.”
Annmarie grinned. “It is kind of crowded in here and hard to find anything if you’re unfamiliar. Come on, I’ll show you.”
Having no choice but to follow, she went with Annmarie, knowing her one and only chance of escape was gone. And she still felt woozy, like she’d had too much to drink. Her mind and body felt strangely hot. Her thoughts were full of sex, the need to return to Adrian and Duncan nearly overwhelming and driving her into a fully aroused state once again.
What the hell was happening to her?
