Jarvis looked at the spot where the dead woman had just lain, and paralyzing fear took hold of his body.

Was it random? Or had she been killed because she was trespassing on the duke’s property?

Either way, the murderer lurked close to his Olive, too close for his peace of mind. He needed to see her, and soon.
