“You’re ours,” he muttered into my ear. “No one else gets to see you. To touch you.”

His jaw ran against the side of my forehead, then his lips, as if he couldn’t stop touching me. His hands wrapped around my hips, and he inhaled deeply, as if he were drinking me in, as if he couldn’t get enough of my scent just as I couldn’t get enough of his.

Maybe I should have sex with someone else. I knew it would hurt them all but Stellan most of all.

I couldn’t do that, though.

I had no doubt they would kill anyone who touched me.

“You’re a bunch of psychopaths,” I whispered.

“Don’t forget that,” he said, and then his hands were sliding around my thighs, drawing me back against his hard cock. Even through all those layers of fabric between us, I could feel how hot his cock was, how he throbbed for me. His lips pressed against my throat.

“I can smell how wet you are,” he murmured. His hand slid up my thigh, his fingers brushing my panties, which were soaking wet. “Even if I couldn’t feel it.”

What could I say? I’d just discovered I had a kinky side I’d never known existed. I’d come close to orgasming over Cain’s lap, and now as Stellan began to tease me over my panties, my thighs trembled as if I’d come right here from his lightest touch.

I ground down against his fingers, and he indulged me, rubbing my needy clit eagerly. His lips teased against my ear, the side of my face, as if he were about to kiss me, but he restrained himself.

“You want me so badly,” he whispered, withdrawing his hand now that I was at the brink.

“No,” I whispered, sure that only he could hear. “I want Cain.”

He suddenly released me. I didn't have to look over my shoulder to know how hurt and angry he would look.

This time when I pulled the door open to go, he didn’t stop me.

Chapter7

Remington

Iwas supposed to be studying on the quad while I waited for Aurora to emerge from her class. Stellan had quietly suggested that we should keep an eye on her, day and night. I would ferret out why later, but for now, I was humoring him.

It was hard to concentrate, though, on my textbook, with tits in my face and polished red fingernails on my shoulder. Presley Harper seemed intent on sitting in my lap. Normally I wouldn’t exactly push away a pretty girl who wanted to make me happy, but every girl seemed like a shallow imitation of Aurora Kane at the moment.

I looked up at Presley, studying her, her hair highlighted by the sunlight as she stood over me smiling. Maybe I should let her suck my cock. Maybe it would help me get over the ridiculous, uncontrolled attraction I felt to Aurora. I had obligations to my friends and, most of all, to my younger siblings that were counting on me to get them out of my asshole father’s tender care. Nothing else mattered.

But when I looked up at Presley for a second, I could’ve sworn I saw Aurora’s violet eyes. As if she were haunting me. Then I blinked and she was gone, and it was just Presley’s plastic face and empty eyes.

“Take a fucking hint, Presley,” I said, hefting my book between us. She gave me a hurt look, then flounced off, as if she wouldn’t be back tomorrow, smiling and pretending I’d never scorned her.

Aurora had more dignity with a smacked ass and rumpled skirt, her hair wild around her face, arousal tinting her cheeks pink.

The memory made my cock stiff in an instant, in a way Presley never could.

I started to read–finally–but something pulled my attention away after a few pages. I looked up to see Aurora walking down the steps of her building. She was talking to that mousy friend of hers. I frowned, trying to remember her name. The girl was pretty enough, but she’d dropped Aurora like she was infected with a skin disease when Aurora’s identity surfaced. I didn’t like the idea of Aurora being a doormat and being friends with her anyway just because she was desperate. Aurora never seemed to take abuse without a fight, and as much as we liked to punish her, I loved her spirit.

Several white-wearing weirdos rushed toward Aurora. Without hesitation, she shoved her friend behind her, yelling at her to run, and turned to face them.

I threw down my book and was across the yard in an instant. One of them had gotten in Aurora’s face, yelling at her. I grabbed his shoulder and threw him away from her before his words even registered.

He’d been yelling that she was betraying…the Demon?

“And I’d do it again in a heartbeat,” she said, high color in her cheeks. “He was a monster, and you’re an idiot for idolizing him. He loved people like you that he could use!”

“You’ve thrown away his legacy,” the man shouted at her from the ground. Spittle flew out of his mouth, and I frowned at him in disgust.

I turned to face Aurora, not afraid the crazy man would attack me from behind. I could take him easily, and right now I wouldn’t mind an excuse to beat him into a pulp. “What the hell is going on?”
