I did, but that didn’t mean I’d changed my mind. “Sounds like you have a lot of talents I do not possess. I can change a tire, but the rest I leave to the professionals.”

“Sounds like you are ignoring my question.”

“My answer hasn’t changed,” I said firmly.

“Then I guess I’ll see you when you get here. And Richard, if you get more than a flat tire on the way, give me a call. You’ve come to my rescue. I owe you, remember,” she teased.

“I promise, if the McLaren breaks down, I’ll let you fix it.”

“Oh, God no. I wouldn’t touch that if you paid me. Do you know how much that thing cost? Never mind. That’s a stupid question. It’s yours. Of course you do.” Joyelle giggled and said, “I’ll see you when you get here.”

She ended the call.

I grabbed my keys and headed out the door. In an hour, I would have Joyelle in my arms. Pulling my cell phone out again, I made one last call. Now I can be there in thirty minutes.

When I arrived at her door, Lizzy answered. “Hi, Richard. Joyelle just ran to the store, but she will be back any minute. Why don’t you come in and wait?”

“I didn’t know you were here,” I said.

“Yeah. I stopped in because I forgot…my sneakers. I need them for the gym in the morning.” She held up a bag and added, “I’ll be heading out once Joyelle gets here.”

A little ball of fluff came around the corner and started barking at me. “I didn’t know Joyelle had a dog.”

“Oh, that’s Snowball. She doesn’t bite. Don’t worry, she’s coming with me when I leave,” Lizzy said. The door opened and Joyelle entered. “Which is now.”

With Snowball in hand, Lizzy winked at Joyelle and said, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”

Finally she was out the door and I had Joyelle all to myself. She walked over and said, “You made it in good time. I didn’t expect you for at least another half hour.”

“I took the helicopter over. It really saves time,” I explained.

She raised a brow. “Richard, is something wrong? You seem…tense.”

I was wound tight, but I played it off. “I can’t help it. Lizzy’s watchdog had me on edge.”

She chuckled. “I’m not even sure it is a dog. All I see is two eyes and the rest is fur.”

“If you had company, you could’ve just told me. I didn’t mean to interrupt you two.” I just needed to see you.

“She just popped in to…to…”

“Pick up her sneakers. Yeah, she told me,” I reminded her. How is it you can’t remember?

“That’s right. Do you want coffee or anything?”

I walked over to her and said, “I’ll take the anything.”

She wrinkled her nose and said, “You might need to be a bit more specific.”

Wrapping an arm around her waist, I pulled her against me. My hard cock pressed against her. “How’s that?” I asked.

She swallowed and stammered, “That’s…specific.” Joyelle went up on her tiptoes and said, “I think I know exactly what you’re looking for.”

I scooped her into my arms and said, “Let’s try something new.”

She stiffened in my arms and replied, “I’m not into any bondage or stuff, so if you are thinking about tying me down, you can forget it.”

I chuckled and kissed her gently. “I was thinking more like we try this on a bed.”
