Wyatt groans, never breaking eye contact as we come together, our combined pleasure cementing this moment in our memories forever. “I love you,” I whisper back, the last of our orgasms fading away.

We slump down to the floor together, and Wyatt rolls to the side before gathering me in his arms. I snuggle against him, then giggle when I feel the cool wooden floor beneath us.

“What’s so funny,” Wyatt grunts, his words slightly slurred.

“We barely made it inside the house before…”

“Before having mind-blowing sex?”

“Yeah,” I say with a nod.

“Is that a problem?”

“I don’t know, is it going to happen often?”

Wyatt growls, leaning over me and searing me with a heated stare. “Yes,” he vows.

“Good. Then there’s no problem,” I say with a cheeky grin.

Wyatt narrows his eyes, then closes the distance between us, kissing away every last thought. Yeah, this cowboy is my happily ever after, and I can’t wait for the rest of our lives to begin.

Five Years Later…

“I don’t wantmommy to go,” my daughter Cara says as she wraps her little arms around my neck.

“Me either!” Jasmine cries as she holds her arms up for me.

I bend down, scooping my youngest daughter up into my arms.

"I know, girls. I don't want her to go either but she's only going to be gone for a few days and then she's going to come back with Grandpa George."

My daughter's eyes light up at the mention of their grandpa and they start to talk excitedly about his visit.

Kennedy is going back to Kentucky to check on the stables and the new foreman before she flies back home to Sequoia with her father. He finally retired six months ago but it’s taken this long for them to find a foreman that he likes and trusts to run the stables.

Now that he’s retired, George tries to come out to Sequoia at least once a month. He loves being a grandpa and getting to spend time with his daughter. There’s even been talk of him moving out here permanently and I know that Kennedy is hoping that he does.

I’m okay with whatever they decide. I just want my wife and daughters to be happy and then I’m happy.

I held Kennedy's hand when she called her dad and told him that she didn't want to come back to Kentucky. She told him about me and falling in love with me and I held my breath with her as we waited to hear his response.

Turns out that he wasn’t that surprised. He told us that he could hear that she was falling for me the last time that they talked and he had a hunch that this was coming. He was sad that she wouldn’t be living with him, or even in the same state as him, but he was happy for us.

I had called him myself two weeks later and asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage and luckily for both of us, he had given his blessing.

I proposed to Kennedy on what would have been her last day on the farm. Monty, Griz, and Kai had helped out, distracting her during the afternoon so that I could get the house set up. I had brought in dozens of flowers and filled the living room with them so that when she walked in, I was already down on one knee.

Kennedy had cried and then hugged me while I waited for an answer. I had to ask her again after she didn’t respond for a solid minute and I thought that the anticipation would kill me.

She had said yes and we were married the next month. Clara had come out with her boyfriend and it was nice to have her meet Kennedy. My parents had flown out and so had her dad. We got married on that hill that we had the picnic on. Remy was my best man and Monty was her maid of honor.

It was a perfect day, made only more perfect when she told me that she was pregnant during our first dance.

When we found out that it was a girl, she asked if we could name her after her mom. Of course, I said yes and Cara was born a few months before we celebrated our first wedding anniversary.
