Oh well. She was a skank anyway.

The footsteps came closer, and I pressed my lips into the singularly beautiful smile I had perfected. I puffed my chest out for added emphasis.

If they wanted to take me while I was tied to the bed, then I wouldn’t complain.

The mere thought made me wet.

But when the person came into the room, eyes fierce on his handsome face, I felt my smile falter.

“Fallon?” I asked. “Did you come to save me?” I made my voice sound as weak and pathetic as possible. I even added a couple of tears. No guys could resist the tears.

Fallon crossed his muscular arms over his chest, and I licked my lips instinctively. That man could ride me any day. I would totally be his whore. Hell, he could even call me Adelaide if he wanted.

“Your partners,” Fallon said. “What are their names?”

I sniffled dramatically.

“Aren’t you going to let me go first? These hurt!” I tugged against the rope in clarification.

Fallon’s face remained impassive. He could’ve been carved from an icicle.

“Names,” he repeated.

Realizing that my innocent act wouldn’t work on him, I spread my legs further apart. It was difficult to do with the bindings, but somehow, I managed. I offered him a coy smile.

“I think we could make a deal.”

I wanted his gaze to roam over me lustfully. I wanted his eyes to spark with love. And of course, I wanted Ryder to walk in, become jealous, and then decide to join us. My nipples hardened at the fantasy.

But stupid Fallon didn’t remove his eyes from mine.

“Names.”

Blowing out a breath, I said, “I don’t know their names. They came to me with information about your little whore. They helped me follow her and grab her. They told me I would have a couple hourswith her before they took her back.”

My tone turned bitter. Why did everybody want Adelaide? What made her so special?

Oh wait. It was because she was a hoe. Duh.

“What did they look like?”

What was this? Twenty questions?

Sighing, I began to recall everything I knew about them. Which was nothing at all. They wore masks - not at all creepy - and had fake names. The leader was Red Eyes and his muscle was Lion. I couldn’t recall the other two’s name.

“So there’s four?” he asked in confirmation. I nodded.

My body was stiff from being in the same position for so long, and my wrists were red from the rope.

Stupid bitch.

“They were supposed to be here a while ago. I don’t know where they went. I told you everything I know. Can you let me go now?”

Fallon considered me thoughtfully. There was something in his expression that I didn’t entirely understand. Something dangerous.

“Did you know that there were two Ragers outside your front door when I arrived?” he asked conversationally. I blinked up at him, unsure where he was going with this. “They followed me inside. I believe that they are currently in your living room.”

I felt the beginning of panic start to set in.
