Someone cleared their throat, and we broke apart to find Poseidon standing in front of us, tall and deliciously handsome.

“Heard there’s a party,” he joked and fell to his knees before me, already crawling closer, stalking me like a lion then he kissed me. The freshness of his taste rattled through me, leaving me feeling buzzing.

“No need to steal the limelight,” Ares said, his voice filled with sarcasm and amusement.

Poseidon sat back on his heels, studying me. And even without words, having them around me felt natural.

“Did you bring the picnic basket?” Apollo asked Poseidon, who shook his head.

“Asked Hades to do it.”

Ares groaned. “Now, we’ll never eat.”

Energy rippled around us, and like a feather, it stroked my skin, tickling me. I smirked.

“Hades.” I glanced up to find him standing behind me.

His smile left me beaming with joy, andnowthe moment was perfect.

“Someone said something about food?” He pulled out a wicker basket brimming with breads, cheese, wine from behind his back.

Ares took it without hesitation and with Apollo set up a blanket for a feast, under Poseidon’s watchful eye and instructions. I chuckled, amazed I was so lucky to have four gods in my life, and they wanted me after everything we’d been through.

Hades sidled next to me, an arm sliding across my lower back, and he captured my mouth with his. I fell deep, melting against him, adoring the way he nibbled on my lips. In truth, I fell for him the first time we met at the Police Academy. At the time, I’d never have considered the possibility and I put it down to pure, carnal lust. Hell, look at the hunky guy, look at all my guys, but it was only now in hindsight I saw how much they affected me from the first time our paths crossed.

“This is exactly where I need to be,” he said and nuzzled my neck.

I writhed against him, my hand combing through his hair, and when he met my gaze, I stared into eyes I’d been dying to surrender to for months.

“You’re so beautiful,” he said. “And I’ll do everything to make it up to you for everything I put you through. I’m forever in your servitude.” He gave me a slight bow of his head, and to have Hades, the god of the Underworld say those words shook me.

“Me too,” Apollo added, dropping to his knees in front of me.

“And me,” Poseidon joined.

“Hell, I’m included, you know,” Ares sat on my other side.

They all stared at me with sincerity in their gazes and an admiration I’d fight to the end of eternity to hold onto.

“You’re all mine,” I said, and they smiled their approval.

Apollo, Poseidon, Ares, and Hades.

Mine to keep forever.

“Now where’s this food you all promised me?”

They sprang to their feet, and I joined them, heading over to the blanket spread with more food than could have possibility fit in the basket. This was my future, my life now, filled with love and joy.

I had four lovers, friends—human and divine—and life was the way I always imagined it could be. I felt like I belonged, I felt I was worth it, and I felt as if a stunning future lay ahead of me.

Who knew what it held? There was only one way to find out.
