"How did the meeting go?" Nicole asks as the males come walking back in.
Warzo smiles at her before answering. I miss the beginning of what he says because I watch Olex kiss Grace's forehead and then puts his arms out for Bazin, who waddles his way towards his father. Keri tilts her face up for a kiss from Linc that he gives with curved up lips, and then he takes their son, Nival, from her arms. Just two months old, he only gives his father a quick look before dozing back off again.
Then, Kayo comes over to me. I'm not surprised at all when he drops to one knee before me. He leans forward to give me a kiss, and then bends over to kiss my belly as well. My very big, very full, and very heavy belly.

They were quite vocal about there being no benefit in this for them, except that now they would lose more daughters to monster mates. Funny how they were silent when losing their daughters meant they got paid for it, huh?
But the women, oh, it was going very well with them. Even from speaking with my sisters now and finding out the attraction they secretly had for monsters, I was still shocked at hearing how many other young women seemingly felt the same. When the males went above ground for the first time, there were women waiting, to get a look, to talk with them. There were so many new mates down here that the village would have to expand further under the forest. Everyone was happy down here, and Kayo and I were more accepted, which made me happy and more at ease during my pregnancy.
"It's up to the parents, if they give their permission," Warzo continues. "And this will hopefully open the door to bringing a mate down here even if she's had a child. That's one of the last stipulations still standing."
"I know the children here are really looking forward to it." Nicole smiles. "They've never seen a human child. And as much as we tell our children about things from above ground, it's not the same as seeing it and learning about it for yourself."
"They were even asking if we'd consider sharing some of the natural remedies for things we use down here," Olex adds.
