"I'd rather you be full of me," I said, smiling at her, teasing her.

Her eyes widened as she realized what I said. "Really? You're going to..."

"I'm gonna what?" I said, pressing my lips against hers again.

"You're just going to say something like that and—”

"And what, Rosalie? Do you want me to pull you onto my lap and fuck you right here right now?" Her lips parted, and she started trembling. I grabbed her hips and moved her slightly so she was almost on my lap. "Do you have any panties on?" I whispered in her ear. "Have you ever fucked in the back of a taxi before?"

"Oliver," she said sharply, looking at me. My hand slid up the front of her dress and cupped her breasts.

"I could take you right here right now. Is that what you want from me? Is that what you were going to ask me?"

"Oliver," she said, pushing me away slightly and shifting back onto the seat fully. I could see that she was blushing. "I-I…"

"You what, Rosalie?"

"I think that our first time should be somewhere else." She gave me a seductive little smile, and my jaw dropped. That hadn't been what I'd been expecting her to say. I'd been expecting her to tell me off and go off on me. But this was a Rosalie that I was not used to. She was very aware of her sexuality, and she was obviously aware that I wanted her very, very badly. Yet I knew that if I acted upon it, it would complicate everything. I also knew that I couldn't risk losing her from my life again. The last few years had been horrible without her in it. And I didn't want anything to happen that would cost me that time with her again.

Chapter10

Rosalie

Istared up at Oliver in shock. I could still feel the imprint of his lips against mine. "What was that?" I gasped at him.

My mind was reeling with the words he just said. He'd asked me if I'd ever had sex in a taxi before. I hadn't because I'd never had sex in my life, but it sounded hot as hell, and I wondered if he'd ever done it.

"Oliver, can I ask—”

"We're here." The taxi screeched to a halt, and the driver looked back. "That's going to be twenty-four dollars, please."

I watched as Oliver pulled a couple of bills out of his wallet and handed them to the driver. He opened the door and jumped out and held it open for me. "We're here," he said.

"I can see that." I blinked at him. "I can't believe you just asked me if—”

"If what?" he asked, grinning at me, his eyes teasing me.

"You know what, Oliver. I—”

"Hey, Oliver, there you are," a deep voice sounded. And I turned around. Two guys came hurrying out of the front of the Ritz-Carlton and I frowned.

"What were they talking about, here you are?"

"Hey, Billy. What's up? Mark, good to see you. Dude, we have been waiting on you. Kramer is with Passenger, and they are really—”

"Huh?" I stood at Oliver in confusion. "Who's Kramer? Who's Passenger? Who's Billy?"

"Rosalie, I would like you to meet my work associates. This is Billy, and this is Mark, and Kramer and Passenger are two of the partners at the law firm."

"Oh, okay." Huh. They decided to come to the Ritz-Carlton today as well? I was confused. Why were his work associates here?

"Kind of. Look, Rosalie, there was something I was meaning to tell you and—”

"Dude, they're going to be handing out the awards soon," Billy said. "Come on, let's go."

"Awards?" I looked up to Oliver, and he made a face. "What's going on?" All of a sudden, I could feel my heart sinking as it suddenly dawned on me that we weren't here for a dinner date. This wasn't a date at all. This was a work event? I walked inside and saw a sign showing where to go for check-in and then a huge placard for the law firm of Kramer, Passenger, and Associates.

"Oliver," I whispered, tugging on his shirt, "what is going on?"
