"Fine. I don't care," Foster said.

"Well, Foster went on a date with this girl. She wanted to double-date with her friend, so he made me come, and we went to seeThe Vagina Monologues."
"It sucked," Foster said, laughing.
"It more than sucked," Oliver said. "So please, noVagina Monologues."
"Fine," I said, but secretly now I wanted to bookThe Vagina Monologuesor something like that just to get on their nerves, and more specifically, Oliver's.
"Okay. Well, let me go in my room," Foster said. "I need to call someone."
"Okay. And Foster?"
"Yeah?" he asked.
"Can I ask why you were so upset earlier about me inviting Alice over, and now you're okay with it?"
"I mean, it's already done. It's not like I have any say, right?" He shrugged and looked away. "We'll figure it out." He walked to his bedroom and closed the door.
Oliver stood there, staring at me. "So Rosalie, it's nice to hear your voice again."
"I'm not friendly with you, Oliver."
"What do you mean, you're not friendly with me?"
"I mean, we're not friends, and I'm not going to be friendly."
"But you are being friendly."
"Only in front of my brother. When my brother's not here—"
"Ah, you're going to go back to being immature."
"I'm not immature. I'm just—"
"You're just what?"
"I'm just pissed, okay? I feel like you led me on, and I feel like—"
He sighed. He grabbed my hands, and he pulled me into him. "I've missed you, Rosalie."
"Missed what?"
"This," he said. And then he leaned down and gave me a long, deep kiss. I pressed my hands against his shoulders and kissed him back. He tasted like candy.
When he finally pulled back, I frowned. "Were you eating Skittles or something?"
"Yeah," he said. "How could you tell?"
"Your breath tasted like strawberries," I said.
