“No fucking chance.” He picks up the pace, curling his fingers and rubbing hard against the most sensitive spot in my pussy.

“Make her come,” Atlas says to Lex without taking his eyes off me.

“With pleasure.” His thumb brushes my clit, circling it hard and fast as he pumps his fingers in and out at record speed.

“Holy shit,” I breathe, almost choking on the air I pull into my lungs. My pussy clenches around Lex’s fingers, and I cry out my release, my eyes locked on Atlas as my orgasm overtakes me. My legs shake, my heels digging into the mat as my heart attempts to launch itself out of my chest.

Lex continues his thrusts as I ride the wave of my climax, my hips jerking off the mat. I settle a few blissful moments later, the aftershocks rippling through me as Lex slides his fingers out and pulls my leggings back up.

Atlas shifts back as Lex gets up, hauling me up with him. I immediately sway on my feet, but he’s there to steady me. After a few seconds, I’m good to stand on my own, and I take a step away to show him that. He chuckles, watching me with amusement in his eyes. My gaze swings back and forth between Lex and Atlas, my mouth too dry to say anything, because damn, that was fucking hot.

After our little, uh,break, we spend the rest of the afternoon training. I get knocked on my ass several times, but overall, I feel pretty good. I managed to stand my ground for a lot of the session, even for a minute when both vampires closed in on me.

Even when my mind wandered for the briefest of moments to the idea of the three of us doing something a lot more fun than training, especially with Lex’s words playing on a loop in my head.

Atlas likes to watch.

After a quick shower, I stand in front of the massive bathroom mirror and run a comb through my hair. There’s a soft knock at the door to the bedroom, so I tie the plush white robe around myself and walk over to open it, revealing a smiling Gabriel. The sight of him instantly makes me feel better. Until I’m quickly reminded how easy it could be to lose him.

I clear my throat before saying, “What’s up?”

He holds up a white rectangular iPhone box. “Thought you could use a new one.”

Taking it from him, I offer a smile. “Thank you. And I’m sorry for losing the other one.”

“We found it, but the screen was shattered beyond repair.” He shrugs. “It’s no big deal, angel, so don’t worry about it.”

Ha. Right. We’ve got enough to worry about as it stands.

I reach for him, leaning on my tiptoes and pressing my lips against his cheek. “Thanks again. I’m going to get changed and come out in a minute.”

Gabriel nods, stepping back. “Take your time.”

Once he’s gone and I’ve closed the door, I pull out the phone to find it already set up. I open a new message, biting my thumbnail as I stare at the screen, considering what to say.

Hey Bri, sorry for the silence on my end. Everything is fine, but I miss you.

I hit send, and a minute later, my phone is vibrating with an incoming call from Brighton.

“Brighton, hey.”

“Hey, babe! Are you feeling better?”

I press my lips together. “Definitely. How are you? Have I missed anything good?”

She laughs. “Nah, things have been pretty boring, as usual. Nothing new. Let’s meet for brunch on Monday, though. I miss our weekly date.”

“Uh, yeah. That sounds good.” So long as I can figure out how to convince the guys to let me go.

“Amazing. Listen, I have to run, but text me!”

Before I can respond, the call ends, leaving me with a knot in my stomach. Nothing seemedoffper se, but with recent discoveries, I can’t help second-guessing everything I think I know about my best friend.

I scour the cupboards and fridge, trying to put something together that is going to be relatively edible. I’m still waiting for Gabriel to give me a cooking lesson, but I’m too hungry for that right now. I settle on some chicken skewers I found in the freezer and start cutting up some potatoes to mash.

Lex walks in as I’m preheating the oven. “Does Gabriel know you’re using his kitchen?” he asks in a teasing voice, leaning against the counter beside me. “Need any help?”
