"What are you going to do with him?" I ask as I get up to come with him.
"Best if you don’t know," Ares grimly says as he puts on his boots. I shiver runs down my spine, but I don’t respond.
"Stay here," he kisses me again and goes out the door, shutting it behind him.
My fingers grab the hair on both sides of my head, and I pull. I have no feelings for Gavin whatsoever, but I don't want any blowback to affect Ares or his club, for that matter. I march out the door and head to the main room of the clubhouse. I see all his brothers gathered.
Ares sees me and barks out, "Prospect, stay here with Willow and her sister."
"Ares, wait," I bellow.
The Grim Saints head out the door without a backward glance; I hear the thunder of the pipes of their bikes starting in unison.
Zoe touches my arm, and I look at her worriedly.
