“Condom!” She was proud of herself for remembering in her current state of intense arousal, if supremely frustrated for the necessity.

He cursed but did not shift away. “Are you on birth control?”

She knew what he was really asking and that he wouldn’t do so if it wasn’t safe.

“I have an IUD,” Jenna offered without compunction. “But I don’t do sex without condoms.”

Never. Not once.

He gave her an unfathomable look. “I don’t either.”

She took those words in, let the implication settle deep inside her. He was asking for something with her he’d never had with another woman.

They were both so turned on that to stop wouldhurt, but neither was out of control. This was a decision they were both making with their brains as well as their bodies.

A decision she wanted to make. They weren’t making promises. They’d both been clear from the start where this was going.

Nowhere serious. They were friends. With benefits.

Jenna had never actually had an arrangement like this with a man, but it was the only one shecouldhave with a prince.

Maybe it was their longtime friendship. Maybe it was knowing he was part of her BFF’s family, but Jenna wasn’t worried about breaking her ironclad rule for Dima. She absolutely trusted him not to be putting her at risk.

She let her thighs float further apart in the water, the invitation obvious. “I’m safe.”

“I never doubted it.” His eyes were dark with need, his body rigid with control.

“Okay.”

“You are sure?” he asked, though the sexual strain showed in how tightly he held his body, in how hard he was.

“Yes.”

“Good.” He pressed forward inside her, his hard flesh stretching hers, making room for himself in her body and somewhere deep in her heart.

Not that she was ever going to acknowledge that last bit.

Her body was buoyed by the water as he controlled the depth and speed of his thrusts. She had no hope of meeting him. Every time she tried to move, her hands would lose their grip, or her body would shift in the water, doing the opposite of what she’d intended.

He gripped her hips. “Just let it happen, Jenna. It will be good.”

She was pretty suregoodwas a huge understatement. Trusting him to give her the blissful stimulation she needed, she concentrated on keeping her body relaxed and floating while he controlled their joining.

Sometime later, as she climaxed in wave after wave of pleasure, she had to admit he’d been right.

She loved it.

His shout as he came said he did too, and that he wasn’t nearly as worried as she was about being overheard. Though who she thought was going to hear them, she wasn’t sure. Only, rooftop or not, theywereoutside.

Dima carried her to the showers, and they washed each other’s bodies, kissing in the way that lovers do after mind-shattering orgasms.

When Jenna found herself sliding into bed beside Dima, she acknowledged, if only to herself, that she was breaking another rule. She didn’t sleep with men she wasn’t committed to.

And again, she wanted to.

Dimitri waited until Jenna was sleeping soundly before sliding quietly from the bed. He went out to the living area on silent feet, pulling the door shut behind him. He found her purse, most of the contents still spilled out on the table.

He started going through it all, item by item, examining each for any kind of surveillance device. He wasn’t actually expecting to find something in her handbag. It didn’t make sense to plant a device in something Jenna switched out to compliment her mood and outfit.
