“Family meeting!” Tink calls as soon as we get into the house. I was half expecting her to honk the damn horn over Thomas’ shoulder. Thomas is our personal driver and security while we are out and about. He’s quiet but efficient and if he didn’t have a gig here in New York I’d hire him for the tour, because he can deal with my girl’s brand of sass.
I’m working on getting all the stuff into the house as the band shows up, Gill had Piper Lyn in his arms and she’s trying to steal his glasses off his head.
“What’s all that?” Karn asks and Camden chuckles.
“Did we get prezzies?”
“Um not yet, well Piper Lyn did but I couldn’t not get the cute baby something. So we have a couple things we’re going to do. First some of you will be flying to Tennessee. However, I’m not allowed to fly so Kris decided to buy a travel trailer. Okay well, I picked out the travel trailer, he was looking at mobile home type deal. I didn’t like the idea of someone being in there with us. That’s super weird.”
Snickers all around.
“Tink, I think you need food, because you are super wired.” I suggest putting down the last of the bags. “You all didn’t eat all the food did you?”
“You figure out food. I’m going to find the stuff for Piper Lyn. I can’t wait to see her face.” Tink rubs her hands together all that’s missing is her muttering excellent.
