Page 49 of Claiming Vanessa

“Ahh, man.” Giulio is out of breath now. “That was hot. Vanessa, good job. I guess you can stay exclusively mine—ours—whatever—for now. Give Slayer and Damien each a kiss from me and thank them for being so good to you.”

Just to be nice, I crouch down, leaning in so Vanessa can give me a kiss. It’s quick, not anything to really be amazed by, but it’s something anyway. I roll my eyes, but I let it go as I watch her lean in to kiss Damien.

Damien doesn’t let her get away with anything quick. He holds her chin and nibbles on her lower lip before running his tongue along the seam, waiting patiently until Vanessa sobs and he can force his tongue inside. She keeps gasping and crying while he kisses her, and on a whim, I grab my phone to snap a quick photo.

I send it to Giulio, who responds only a few seconds later with, “Ugh that is really fucking hot. Damien, you never kissmelike that, though.”

Which is probably for the best, because I don’t want to watch the two of them make out.

Now with Vanessa in the picture…thatI don’t mind watching. She looks so sweet and traumatized, for all that her body is still fluttering with the occasional aftermath of her climax.

“You didn’t thank us,” I tell Vanessa—helpfully, of course, to remind her of what Giulio had said. A quick peck on the lips is easy. Having to outright thank us for fucking her… that’s where the real gold is.

Damien slowly lets Vanessa pull back, and she wipes at her mouth with the back of her hand.

“T-thank you, Slayer. Thank you, Damien,” she whispers, looking at me with the most gorgeous look of misery on her features.

“You’re welcome, sweetheart,” I tell her, grinning. “Now be a good girl and tuck my cock back into my pants.”

Damien glares at me, but he releases her entirely, and Vanessa scoots over toward me. She hiccups and gives little gasping sobs the entire time, and her hand trembles while she tucks me back in.

“You really have to be here next time,” I tell Giulio.

There’s no response, which is strange given how chatty he usually is. I check the phone to see if the call dropped, only to be met by a black screen. When I hit the button to wake the phone, I get ano batteryicon.

“Fucking hell! Giulio made me waste the entire charge,” I growl.

Damien bites his lip while he zips himself up. “It wasn’t a waste. Vanessa was gorgeous. Giulio’s ideas are good after all.”

“Yeah, but I needed to talk to him,” I say, absently patting Vanessa’s head as she buttons my pants. “Oh well. This was more fun than talking to him about serious shit anyway. You know, you’re almost hot when you’re coming.” I smirk at Damien.

He meets my gaze steadily. “And you’re almost tolerable when you’re getting sucked.”

I chuckle. “Well, I’ll let you spend some time with Mommy here before you put her to bed like a good little slut. See you ‘round, Damien.” I touch Vanessa’s head one last time, enjoying her tears so much that it’s hard to pull myself away. “See you soon, Vanessa.”

With that, I let myself out of the room, humming softly under my breath.

Yeah, maybe I didn’t get to talk to Giulio, but business can wait. Vanessa’s mouth made it all worth it.

DAMIEN

Giulio bumps my shoulder before we enter the building. “Chill, man. It’s gonna be fine. You think I can’t handle a few of my old man’s frenemies?”

“Aren’t you too old to be calling themfrenemies?” I scan the surroundings for the third time, but I can’t see any obvious signs of a trap. It’s a neutral location, and the people we’re meeting with aren’t actually enemies. We’d put in our own precautions, and we’re accompanied by three foot soldiers.

It doesn’t stop me from worrying about our counterparts’ reactions to Giulio. I’ve heard enough chatter to know that a lot of people don’t take Giulio seriously, thanks to his joking facade.

“No way. I’m exactly the right age to be calling people frenemies. I bet the kids these days have never heard that term.” Giulio walks through the doors without any thought to security, like he fully trusts me to keep him out of harm’s way.

It’s true, of course. I would give my life for him if it came down to it, but I really would rather we both survive. I motion to the three men with us, sending two of them out ahead of Giulio. Giulio grins at me, like he knows exactly what I’m doing.

There’s this mobster movie cliche, where people meet in large, empty warehouses to transact secret deals. I’ve always thought it was idiotic to go to a venue that very clearly would lead to a trap, yet here we are.

I do mostly believe our counterparts aren’t going to do anything rash. It helps that they’re already present. I recognize all but one of them, and I narrow my eyes at the stranger, but he looks similar enough to the man he’s chatting with that I assume he’s the son or nephew. It’s always a family business.

“Yo! What’s up? Everybody here already?” Giulio greets, as casual as always. I’d tried to get him to dress up at least, but he insisted on his usual combo of slacks and sandals. He’d even brought a backpack instead of a suitcase. To complete the look, he’s wearing sunglasses that he didn’t bother to remove when we’d stepped inside.
