“Your one friend’s father had a heart attack.”
Yeah, true. “Okay, so probably not a set up by everyone.”
“Still feels like a lot of coincidences.”

Adam looked at me with his whole heart. I absorbed the love across my skin just from the look in his eyes. I returned a grateful smile. Grateful for him and for the turns in life that led us here. Grateful for so much promise for the future. A second chance to build onto what we already had.
