“Medic!” They all chirp together.
“Yeah. You know him? Anyway, I should be going. But you want me to ask Whit to host a charity event at the rink, yeah?”
“Yeah, at the end of the month,” Frostine says.
“Erm, okay. And what’s it for?”
“We’re raising funds for Silver Springs Animal Rescue,” Peppermint explains.
“Okay, and what event are you hoping to hold?”
“The Full Monty...on ice!” Storm bellows.
It’s damn lucky I don’t have my drink yet because I would have just spat it everywhere. The women all whoop and cheer like they’re at a bachelorette party, and my cheeks heat imagining Whit, Yas and Quilo on the ice.
“Oh, I’m sure your guys will want to join in,” Eirwen says with a wink.
I’m just about to say that they’re not my guys—not yet anyway—when Quilo catches my eye and nods to a booth seat. I nod back at him and turn to the women.
“I’ll ask them. If Whit likes the idea, who should I get him to contact?”
“Any of us,” Storm says dismissively, waving her hand and spilling her drink a little. “I’m sure we’ll come by the rink to see his full monty soon.”
