“Dating any more movie stars?” Austin asked.
Kyle laughed and shook his head. “All rumors. Though I’ve had a few patients in the business, I have no interest in actresses. Give me a down-to-earth woman any day.” He smiled at Livy.
Livy willed her cheeks not to flush.
Austin looked from one to the other and said, “Guess I’d better be going.” He took off.
Kyle and Livy stared at one another. “It was nice to see you,” Kyle said.
“Come say hi sometime. Charlie and Brooke are staying with me at Gran’s house.”
“Will do,” said Kyle. He gave her a wave and called to Austin. “Hey, wait up!”
She watched them go, telling herself she and her cousins had a busy summer ahead of them.
