“Do I have to sleep in there by myself?”
He looks at me as he begins to clean up our dinner.
“No baby but I didn’t want to assume.”
“Thank you for always looking out for me.”

I put on a nightgown and go to Jag’s room and get the bed. He grabs me and lays me across his chest, and we fall asleep in each other's arms.

The next day we are on the road early. We grab breakfast on the go and head towards South Carolina to see her dad. I am a little nervous to meet her father, but curious about him at the same time. Four hours later we pull into a little family-owned restaurant. She absolutely refuses to go to her father’s house. She doesn't like her dad’s new wife and she makes sure she limits her interactions with her.
According to Savvy it takes the strength of Sampson to not stomp a mud hole in the bitch, so her dad is meeting us here. A few seconds after ordering and sitting down a short light skinned guy with glasses comes in and walks towards us. You’ve gotta be kidding me this cannot be her dad. He is all of five feet five inches or five feet four inches tall max. Where the hell did, she get her height from?
He goes to hug her and stops short when he sees her face, then he turns to me. The look in his eyes is one of pure murder.” He didn’t do this dad, it was William.”
He whips his head back to look at Savannah. “It was an accident”, I grunt, and her dad says,” I doubt it”. Now that gets my attention.
“Dads meet Joshua, Joshua this is my dad Mr. Errington.”
“Nice to meet you sir.”
“You too Joshua.”
We sit down at the table and Savvy tells him what happened to her face.” I’m glad you were there Joshua. “The food arrives, and we eat and talk. Her dad is a genuine down to earth person and I really like him. He and my dad would get along like two peas in a pod.
“When is the new house gonna be ready?” He asks Savannah, and all eyes turn to me.
“A few more months it usually takes around seven to eight months for a new build but it’s Savannah’s house so I’m sure we’ll have it done well before that.”
He nods his head. “Are you still at the hotel?”
“No, I moved into one of Joshua’s houses temporarily until my house is ready.”
“And where is Joshua living?” He asks and I have to stop the laugh that's bubbling up.
“Not with me, dad, he lives in a house with his brothers.”
“How many brothers?”
“There are, eight of us,” I say.
“In one house?” he asks.
“Yes, well it’s a little more than a house it’s over twenty thousand square feet. So, there’s enough room for all of us.”
“Well, that’s not a house that’s a mansion.”
I laugh. “Yeah, I guess it is,” I say.
Savvy excuses herself to go to the restroom and as soon as she out of earshot he says to me, “What are your plans for more daughters?” He says to me.
Hmm straight to the point, I like it. “I plan on marrying your daughter, sir.”
“I’ve heard that before and she was mistreated and hurt.”
