She looks at me and we both start laughing even though we both know I meant what I said. “Well, we better hurry up and decide on dinner, I’m hungry. I didn’t eat a lot at the luncheon, and I came right over after my shift at the hospital.” A yawn escapes as soon as she makes that statement.
“Baby go take a nap, I’ll take care of dinner. I’ll wake you up when it’s time to eat.”
“But…”
“Go to take a nap Lenny, I travel all over the world, I think I can handle getting us dinner.”
“I know that Peter, I just feel like a bad host.”
“Baby, you are not a host when it comes to me. Besides, you had no idea I was coming so I am the bad guest.” I kiss her as I help her off the stool, she had been sitting on at the breakfast bar, and direct her towards her bedroom. She sits on the bed, and I kneel down to remove her shoes and socks. I stand her up and remove her pants and top. She stands in front of me in a bra and panties, she is magnificent.
“Where’s your nightgown Lenny?”
“Over there,” she points to a chair. “But I’d rather wear your t-shirt.” I don’t even take a second to think about it. I pull the plain t-shirt off over my head and put it on her. I pull the covers back as she calls in the bed and I put the covers over her. I lean down and kiss her on her forehead. “Sleep well” I tell her and walk towards the door. I look back as I walk out, and she is already asleep.
