Ariana cocked a brow. “Why don’t you tell me?”
“Just drop your little search. That’s all you need to know.”
“And if I don’t?”
His eyes narrowed and he turned around. Started walking away, then angled his head back slightly. “There are already bodies buried here. That should tell you something.”
“Are you threatening me?”
Ryan picked up his pace.
“Say that to my face!” She pulled out her phone to record him. “If you dare.”
“Enjoy your night.”
Then he disappeared around the corner.
