“God, yes!”

“Fuck, Pen.”

“Maddox!”

“Are you gonna come all over my cock, baby?”

She gasps as I fuck her, thrusting so hard and fast inside her that the entire bed is shaking.

“Yes... yes... yes!” She shatters, screaming so loud I’m sure the neighbors can hear her, but I don’t give a fuck. I keep pounding into her, drawing out every last tremor of her release as I reach my own, slamming into her so hard at the end that I’m afraid I’ve hurt her.

But the sated look on her face tells me she’s okay—her eyes are closed, her mouth is open, and her chest is heaving with every breath she draws in. Sweat covers both of our bodies.

I collapse on top of her, burying my face in her hair with my dick still inside her.

She finally speaks. “Holy shit.”

“Penelope.” I kiss her neck, her jaw, and then her lips. “Jesus, woman. You drive me senseless.”

“Well, I definitely don’t mind the consequences of that.”

I press a kiss to the tip of her nose and then push myself off her. “Stay right here.” I walk into her bathroom to dispose of the condom, and then I wet a washcloth and bring it back out to find her still spent on the bed, barely moving. Slowly, I wipe between her legs, cleaning her gently, and then press a kiss to her clit. “There. Gotta take care of my girl.”

She bites her lip and then closes her legs.

“Aw, come on. Don’t go all shy on me now, Pen. Can you finally admit that this pussy belongs to me now?”

She smirks. “You’re definitely getting closer to partial ownership, but at the end of the day, it will always belong to me first.”

Chapter16

Penelope

“Hello, Liam.”

“Penelope. What the fuck is going on with Maddox?”

“Uh, excuse me?” My pulse spikes as I wonder what exactly the point of this phone call is because the worst-case scenario is playing through my head right now, and I feel like I’m about to puke.

Did Liam find out about us?

We’ve been trying to be careful, but last night hedidtake me to the beach. Not a completely private area to be sneaking around, hoping not to get caught together.

My gut told me it wasn’t a bright idea, but then we watched the sunset together, and all of that caution went right out the window.

Obviously, my head is not on straight at all when it comes to this man.

“The tabloids!” Liam shouts into the phone, pulling me back to the conversation. “Have you seen the fucking tabloids this morning?”

“No. I usually don’t worry about that stuff until I get into the office.” My normal clients don’t usually have me worrying about tabloids anyway since I tend to work with companies, not people.

“Well, that’s a shame. As someone who works in PR and at the suggestion of your boss, I thought we had the best of the best working for the Bolts, which means that you should barely be sleeping because our reputation is on the line.” He blows out a breath.

“Is there a point to this call besides you trying to tell me how much I suck at my job?”

A notification dings followed by a link that pops up on my phone. “Read this article, and then tell me that I don’t have every right to be pissed. I thought you had him under control, Penelope. I thought you had him hypnotized like every other man on the team. But I guess I have to hover over you now, too.”

He hangs up, leaving me fuming as I yank my phone down from my ear and click on the screen. I instantly feel my blood boil, understanding why Liam is so freaking pissed this morning—because he has every right to be, as do I now.
