“More,” she breathlessly pled.

I did it again and then switched to the other nipple, doing the same thing to that one. I moved to shrug my cut off, but her sudden touch stopped me. I looked up at her. Her chest was heaving, her tits jiggling with each panted breath.

“I want you to stay clothed.”

I groaned. I fucking loved it when she wanted me to take her like this. It was her showing me vulnerability and putting her trust in my hands. And I would always handle that trust with extra care because I knew how fragile it was.

“You’re sure, baby girl?”

She nodded and leaned up, her tits rubbing my clothed chest, her nipples hardened into tiny pebbles. “Fuck me, Sam.”

She sure as fuck didn’t have to tell me twice.

Sam

It was quiet. Peaceful. Might have even enjoyed the scenery if the fucking enemy wasn’t waiting behind those fucking closed doors.

I pulled my ski mask over my face and looked over at River. “We ready to do this shit or what?” I demanded.

Earlier today, he’d called church, dragging me out of bed again. And he’d laid out a plan to take out the mother charter’s warehouse just as they’d done ours.

Karma was a real bitch, I tell you. And I fucking loved her.

River nodded once at me and made a signal to Tank that we were moving forward. Tank then waved the signal on to everyone else. Four of our men covered us, and we slipped inside the building.

Unlike the Angels of Hell, we were taking their shit before we blew the place up. It wouldn’t make up for what we’d lost, but it would be a fucking start.

I strapped my gun to my back and began helping everyone load the shit into the van, plus all of the other guns and drugs in the warehouse. By the time we were done, I was sweating, and I was ready to get the fuck out of this hoodie and mask. Felt like I was suffocating with the sweat running down my body. My clothes were awkwardly sticking to me.

“Ready?” River asked once our two vans were pulling away, heading towards the clubhouse. From there, Joey and Ink—Joey’s VP—would get the vans, taking them to a safe location.

I nodded once at River. Together, we strung up the warehouse with explosives. It took us a mere five minutes to wire everything. We needed it to explode all at once. “Ready, prez?” I called as I neared the door.

“Ready, brother,” he called back as he rushed towards me, his rifle held in his hands.

We quickly moved away from the building and then took cover behind two thick ass trees.

And I hit the button.

I covered my head just to be on the safe side as the warehouse burst into flames, wood exploding everywhere, tin flying in pieces down to the ground. River and I took off through the woods to our bikes, not even taking the time to look at our handiwork. I didn’t need to. I knew the entire building had blown to fucking pieces, just as I’d wanted it to.

We got what we came for. Now, it was time to get the hell out of dodge and get the fuck back home.

Reina wasasleep when I got back to the clubhouse. It was near eleven in the morning, which was her normal time to pass out. Even I had gotten on the schedule she was. And no one ever said a damn thing. I was pretty sure they suspected that my schedule changed because of Reina’s.

She had gone through some traumatic shit. Of course, she wouldn’t have come out of it unscathed. And I never expected her to, either.

She had just hidden it so fucking well.

It was shit that I was the only one who hadn’t noticed that she didn’t sleep at night. But I made sure I sensed and knew everything about her now. I wouldn’t be making the same mistakes twice. She was too precious for that.

I quickly jumped into the shower, sleep calling my name. But I wouldn’t crawl into bed beside her smelling like sweat and smoke. Once I was bathed and smelling like a normal human being again, I slipped into bed behind Reina, being careful about her back since she’d said it was tender last night, and wrapped my arms around her, burying my face in her hair.

Home.

This was what home was supposed to feel like.
