“Okay, whenever you’re ready I’ll be here.” He smiles at me and kisses my forehead.

“Now let’s clean you before we make ourselves late.”

He puts soap on the loofah and starts cleaning my whole body. I close my eyes and take in the sensual touches of his hand as it grazes against my skin. When he reaches my pussy, I wince, and he immediately retracts.

“Sorry, I’m just a little sore still.” I see concern in his eyes when he comes back to my face and kisses me hard.

“Don’t apologize, you don’t ever have to apologize to me Ally. I should be the one apologizing for making you feel like that.” I smile to him and shake my head.

“Are you sure you’re not a dream?” He laughs and we finish our shower and getting dressed for the day.

I finish getting everything ready for my bag when Dexter leans against the island with a cup of coffee in his hand.

“Here, you’re going to need this today.” I smile at him and grab the coffee out of his hand before kissing him.

“I could get use to this. Waking up to your beautiful face every morning and starting my day off with you.” He smiles at me.

“Me too, you’re cute in the morning.” I take a sip of my coffee and wink at him.

He takes my face in his hands and kisses my lips before we have to go back to hiding our relationship to the rest of the world. He looks straight into my eyes when he starts to talk.

“Do you remember when you came into my classroom towards the end of the year crying.” I try to pinpoint the exact moment he is thinking of. I cried a lot during my senior year, but I always tried to conceal it around others.

“Which time?” I see him wince at my confession, I only ever let myself cry in front of him once.Thank you Rebecca Collins!

“You came into my room trying to hide yourself like you always did. I could tell you were crying no matter how hard you tried to hide it. You told me all the horrible lies that Collins girl had said about you.”

I know the exact moment he is talking about. It was right after I had gotten my heartbroken by Jacob Harrison. He was dating Rebecca at the time, but they were on a break. I tutored him in our science class, and he was absolutely gorgeous. He needed to keep his grades up for basketball, so I helped him. In return, Rebecca found out and assumed that we had hooked up and spread that rumor all around the school. She had called me these awful names.

We were friends, or so I thought. He kissed me once but that was as far as it had gone. I guess when Rebecca confronted him, he acted all macho about it and told her that he slept with me. He told people that he could get any girl he wanted and that I was just another notch in his long list of girls.

I knew that it wasn’t true but that didn’t stop everyone else from believing it. Who were they going to believe, little me or the star basketball player.

“I remember.”

I close my eyes so he can’t see the emotions running through me after all this time. He helped pick the pieces up that day for me. He knew how to do that every time I went to him with a problem.

“I could tell that you believed all the horrible things she had said about you to other people. You don’t know how hard it was for me to not tell you how I really felt that day.” I open my eyes and scrunch my brows in confusion.

“What do you mean?” He smiles at me and runs his thumb across my bottom lip.

“You were my student, Ally. I wasn’t supposed to think of you in that way, but you made it so hard. I wanted so badly to give in that day and tell you how beautiful you were. Inside and out.” I kiss him before he can say anything else. Knowing that he felt the same way as me, fills me with so much happiness.

“You have no idea how big of a crush I had on you back then Dex.” He laughs and tilts his head.

“Oh, trust me, I knew. I can see everything you’re feeling in those hazel eyes of yours.”

As I’m locking up the door to the apartment, I’m fully expecting him to get in his car and leave, but instead he is waiting for me.

“You’re not going to drive?” He smiles at me.

“Are you walking?” I nod my head towards him.

“Then so am I, I’ll get my car tonight.” He must have a sex daze over him because people can see us walking together.

“Aren’t you worried people will see us together and get the wrong idea?” He shrugs and keeps walking beside me.

“Dex.” He stops and looks at me. He doesn’t have a worried look about him at all.
