We were heading off for our honeymoon and leaving our guests to party. I’d not been happy with the idea when Aidan had suggested it, but it was going to take several hours to get to our destination, so he’d eventually convinced me.

He took my hand as we waved goodbye to Lex and Vanessa, and moved back into the party to say the rest of our goodbyes.

Several hugs later, and some tears from Brianna, we were on our way.

Husband and Wife.

Finally.

CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Cait

It was dark when we arrived at my family’s cabin, and to my surprise, I actually felt a bit uneasy when the car pulled away, leaving us standing in the middle of the woods, alone.

Aidan didn’t seem to feel the same fear, though. He swept me up into his arms easily, like my weight meant nothing.

“What are you doing?” I squealed, gripping him around the neck to keep my balance.

“Carrying you over the threshold.” He grinned down at me, striding towards the cabin as I tossed my head back and laughed. This playful side of Aidan was rare, but it was what had made me fall for him.

As we reached the porch, he stopped. His smile dropped, and his eyes grew dark and serious. “And then I’m going to tie you to that bed and make you beg for me.”

I sucked in a breath as desire unfurled in my stomach and moisture pooled in the expensive bridal lingerie I’d picked out. Chills rippled over my skin as he unlocked the door one handed, and in the same move, leaned down to capture my lips.

He kissed me like a starved animal, and I knew it wouldn’t be long before I was indeed, begging him.

A moan escaped me, and I reached up to clutch him closer. I was vaguely aware of him moving through the cabin, but nothing registered until he tossed me onto the bed. I bounced comically, careering towards the floor, but he caught me easily and pinned me beneath him.

He was deliciously hard already, and I could feel every inch of him through his slacks. I wanted it. I wanted him. I couldn’t wait.

I reached down, gripping a fistful of my husband and he snarled in response, the sound so vicious, so desperate it turned me into a mess of want.

“Please, Aidan,” I whimpered.

He stretched out over me, leaning down to kiss every inch of skin he could. He’d asked me not to change out of my wedding dress because he’d wanted to be the one who removed it, and I’d completely melted.

His eyes burned with need when he pulled back to look at me. “Wife,” he growled, and I had no idea why, but the sound of that word on his lips sent heat flooding south.

“Take this dress off me,” I demanded. I needed him against me. No barriers. Nothing between us.

My body rolled against his, desperate for more. More of him. More of everything.

He smirked, grabbing my hips so he could flip me. He crawled across me, kneeling over the back of my knees so I couldn’t escape him as he slowly unlaced the corset. My hips ground into the bed, searching for relief from the pounding in my blood.

Once he was done unlacing the dress, he ripped one of the cords out and reached over me for my wrists.

“What are you doing?” I tried to turn my head, but he had me pinned.

“I told you. I’m going to make you beg,” he breathed in my ear, expertly tying the laces around my wrists and then looping the long ends through the headboard.

We’d done this once before, but we’d barely lasted through the begging part before he’d pounced on me.

I laughed into the bedspread. I didn’t think today would be any different, but I’d play along.

When he was done, he flipped me again, twisting my wrists above my head and then he wriggled the tight fabric down my body, discarding the dress on the floor.

I licked my lips as he cast his eyes over my body, admiring his handywork.
