“It was a study date. What’s the big deal?” I ask, confused by his reaction.

“You can’t date him!” He yells, whipping around to stare me down.

“STUDY DATE,” I enunciate, wondering if he might be crazy.

Maybe he’s sleep-deprived from traveling?

He walks toward me, taking slow, measured steps. “You’re mine,” he says, his eyes searching mine. “I was trying not to scare you. I want you to be comfortable here. I want you to like it here, but I can’t wait any longer. Not if it means other guys will try to take my place.”

“It was a study date!”

Oliver’s nostrils flare. He doesn’t like me saying “date” when I talk about other guys. Okay, noted.

My heart is beating out of control in my chest. He’s saying everything I’ve wanted him to say. I missed him so much while he was gone. After the second day, I sneaked into his room and slept in his bed. I wanted to be around him, to be surrounded by his scent and his things.

I know it sounds crazy. We’ve only known each other for a few weeks and have barely been in the same city, let alone the same country, but it doesn’t change how I feel about him.

There’s something between us, a primal attraction. He’s meant to be mine. I felt it before I met him. I’m surprised he feels it too.

“You’re mine, love.” His hand cups the back of my head, tipping it back so his lips can claim mine.

I gasp against his lips, giving him an opening, and he takes it, slipping his tongue inside. He tastes like mint, and I moan as my tongue moves to tangle with his. My hands grip his shoulders like we’re standing in the middle of a storm, and I don’t want to get swept away.

I still might.

This is all Oliver. Only he can instigate this reaction in me.

“Have you ever had a man between these sweet thighs?” he asks as he backs us toward the bedrooms.

I open my mouth, wanting to answer him. I want to tell him he’s the first and only man who will ever be with me like that.

We enter his bedroom, and his hands tighten on my hips, pulling me against his body before I can fall onto the mattress. His gaze holds mine as he slowly lifts my shirt, dragging it over my head and letting it fall to the floor. “Answer me, love.”

“No. There’s never been anyone but you,” I breathe.

He moans, his eyes heating as he reaches to unhook my bra and drags the straps down my arms.

I’ve never been naked in front of anyone before and don’t know what to expect. I thought I’d feel vulnerable, but the way Oliver is staring at me makes me feel desired and sexy.

His eyes heat as he looks at the smooth globes of my breasts, the hard peaks begging for his mouth like cherries on top of a sundae.

“Fucking perfect, love.”

He reaches for my yoga pants and pushes them off my hips, taking my panties with them. “I need a taste,” Oliver says quietly like he’s talking to himself.

I want to ask him what he means, but he moves first. He spins us, sitting down on the bed and dragging me closer to him.

“You’re going to climb onto this bed, put those thighs on either side of my head, and lower down until this sweet little pussy is riding my mouth.”

“I can’t do that,” I blurt.

Oliver holds me in place, spanking my ass as he stares at me. “Yes, you can.”

“I… won’t it be weird?” I mumble, wringing my hands.

“Weird? What would be weird about it? This body, love? Fuck, it drives me wild. I can’t wait to sink into you. I want to lick and mark every inch of you. And I’m about to. You’re mine.”

He keeps saying that, and I love it. I nod, trusting him.
