“This is the last take. If you can’t nail it, I’m having someone stand in for you and we’ll dub the footage. I’m done playing games.”

Celia’s face contorts but she quickly regains her composure, nodding at Ansen as he stalks back toward his chair, his fists clenched tightly at his sides.

Begin scene.

“Let’s play a game,” Celia suggests. “You guess a piece of clothing I need to remove to show you my tattoo. If you’re right, I’ll lose the clothing. If you’re wrong, you lose your clothing. Deal?”

“I’d like this game better if you removed your clothing even if I was wrong,” Eli counters, his smile slowly growing as his eyes take Celia in from head to toe.

I’ve been on the receiving end of that look on more than one occasion. Even though I trust him, it makes me wonder if he genuinely finds her attractive. I mean, aside from her off-putting personality, she’s gorgeous. Short and petite with large, fake boobs. Her usually blonde hair is hidden beneath the slightly darker wig she’s wearing. It’s her eyes that make me jealous of her. They’re the prettiest shade of hazel, though when her stare is directed at me, they tend to take on a darker shade.

“Yes, but then you’d just be getting me naked.” A flirty laugh escapes Celia’s lips.

That’s not part of the script, but Ansen doesn’t holler at her. Not this time anyway. He probably would have ten takes ago.

“What’s your point?” Eli takes a step in her direction, towering over her.

He manages to keep the scene moving along even with her changing the lines.

“That is my point.” The challenge in her stare is beyond annoying. If she stuck to the script, we’d be better off, but their interaction is intense. Which is how the relationship between Jessa and Jackson has been throughout the entire movie. They push each other, banter, but more than anything, the energy between them is always fully charged.

“Well, I like my idea better,” he retorts, mimicking Celia’s stance. It looks odd for him to stand with his hands on his hips, his left hip popped out. When he tilts his head to the side, Celia throws her head back and laughs.

“Fine. We’ll play your way, but as soon as you guess the right piece of clothing, the game is over, and you have to help me take off the bandage.”

Finally. She fell back on script. I want to breathe a sigh of relief, but they still need to nail the scene before Ansen loses his shit. And potentially fires her.

I wish.

Still, the game Celia is playing is dangerous. She wants Eli to keep undressing her. For me to react to their performance. I won’t let her see the hint of jealousy that’s currently taken up residency in my heart.

“Deal.”

She loses her pants, quickly followed by her underwear. The only thing covering Celia from showing her down there goodies to everyone, especially Eli who is facing her, is a thin piece of fabric across her front. Her bare ass is to the camera, and she appears perfectly comfortable.

Eli circles her once then twice before coming to a stop in front of her again.

“You should be taking your clothes off, too. Why am I practically naked and you’re fully clothed? That’s not fair,” Celia whines, sounding like her normal self.

Eli quickly removes his shirt and pants. “Better?”

“No.” Celia’s answer is firm, her voice whiny. “Now I want to have sex, and we can’t do that.”

From where I’m standing, the scene just became a whole lot more intense, which will make the audience go crazy.

“The hell we can’t!” Eli roars, reaching for Celia, but she takes a step back.

“Your parents might hear us.”

“Do you think they care? We’re engaged, Jessa. Plus, they probably assume we’re already sleeping together.”

“Do I look like that much of a slut?” Clutching her hand over her heart, Celia does her best to sound offended while maintaining a smile.

Me? I want to answer the question for Eli.

Yes, sweetheart, you do. But not because of the character you’re playing.

“Right now, yes.” Eli’s face falls flat. It calls for the action in the script, but I still have to hold back my laughter. I’ve seen that look before. He’s being serious. After a long moment of silence, he continues, “I have one more guess.”
