Leon chuckles lowly, looking a bit irritated and digs his hand into his coat pocket, pulling out a black box lined with gold. “This. The engagement ring I bought for you. Fuck, I thought I hid it high enough where your short ass couldn’t reach it.”
I smack his arm playfully, “I’m appalled that you still continue to call me short. I’m fun-sized! I didn’t find your ring, though. I had been planning to do this for a couple of weeks, only in a more romantic way and not as much word vomit.”
Leon cocks his head back and laughs, pulling me against him. “If anything, this is confirmation that we’re made for each other, sweetie.”
“I love you, Leon Gabor.” I mew, kissing the bottom of his neck.
“And I love you, fiancé,” he replies, sliding the ring onto my finger.
“You love me enough to tell everyone the correct version of the story, right? I did propose to you and beat you to the punch after all.”
“Yes, whatever you want dear.” Leon chuckles, pulling me in for a passionate kiss. If anything, I don’t know much about the what’s coming but I do know how much I look forward to our future.
