Page 70 of Her Maine Risk

So close to his bike, Alex lifts me up and sets me down on the seat of his Harley.

“Alex, wait.” I pull away and look around.

“I doubt the kids are coming back,” he says, kissing me.

But I pull away again, and open my mouth to say something, but he just growls and slams his mouth down on mine – shutting me up so the only thing on my mind is him.

I knew I’d become addicted to Alex from that first kiss.

He’s an intoxication I never want to sober up from.

“Mel,” he rasps, his lips moving against mine. “If we don’t stop, my fantasy of having sex on my bike might just come true.”

I smile against his mouth. “Is that even possible?”

“Only one way to find out.” Taking my bottom lip between his, he bites down, and I moan into him. “Want to find out?”

“Maybe one day,” I whisper, and he pushes his hips against mine, eliciting another soft moan from me. “Alex,” I sigh.

“I’ll hold you to it, gorgeous,” he says, kissing me long and hard before pulling away. “I don’t know how I’ll be able to ride back in my current state, though.” He smirks, running his hand through his hair.

My eyes drop to the bulge in his jeans and I bite my lip, my body flaring with need.

“Don’t look at me like that, gorgeous. You’re killing me,” he groans, pulling me off his bike.

Tossing me the helmet, he gets on and waits for me. Biting back a smile, I shove the helmet on and take my place behind him.

He pulls my hands around him, turns on the bike, and we’re off. Squealing, I tighten my grip and squeeze my legs around him, not prepared for the sudden jolt.

Rubbing my fingers back and forth on his stomach, I lean back and enjoy the view. I can’t believe how comfortable I feel already riding with him.

The thought of getting on a motorcycle used to be such an abhorrent notion, but now, it excites me.

I feel like I’m cheating death, and living life how it’s supposed to be lived – wild and free.

Coming to a stop sign, I notice no one is around on this back road, so at a stop sign, I decide to take a little risk and slide my hands down his stomach and over the front of his jeans.

Alex tenses the second I grip him in my hand, smoothing my palm up and down. Holy shit, he’s huge, and my legs tighten around him automatically.

“Mel,” he groans, placing his hand over mine, stopping me. “You’re distracting me.”

“I know,” I say, kissing his shoulder, and he puts my hands back where they were.

“Hold on tight,” he says, and I do, just in time for him to speed forward, making my stomach drop. I know he’d never endanger me, though. That I’m sure of.

The ride back to the cottage is quick, and the second he turns the engine off, he turns his head to the side. “Get off,” he says, his voice gruff and strained.

My body is wound so tight, it’s like a coiled spring ready to let go.

Both of us get off, and he rips the helmet from my head and tosses it to the ground.

Without warning, he grips the back of my neck and slams his mouth down on mine in a bruising, hard kiss, that makes my legs almost give out.

“Are we going to finish what we started back there?” he rasps, his rough voice making my heart beat a little faster.

“Yes,” I whisper, and he flashes me a wicked grin.

“Walk,” he says, turning me around.
