“You’re ravenous, and you want your men to be yours and only yours.”

He’s flirting with me, pleasure glinting in his eyes, his smile giving him away.

I can’t believe we’re here, at a party––that, so far, has been different than Kai’s usual dirty affairs––and we can’t help ourselves.

Not only that…

He pulls closer to me and pivots. My backside is propped against the railing, his silhouette partly blocking my sight and also obstructing the view of the people partying inside and on the deck. Anyone who might look at us.

“Am I right?” he says, clutching the handrail on either side of me.

I chuckle quietly.

“You might be right.”

“I am, cariño,” he says, glancing in the distance.

I love how he says ‘cariño’. Always warm and affectionate.

“Under normal circumstances, you’d be jealous as hell,” he says, his eyes gleaming with lust.

I stiffen and clench my jaw, trying to conceal that the feeling is mutual.

There is something about this evening and this party that is perfectly confined, away from the libertine realm we usually float in.

“Define normal circumstances.”

“If you would be with one of us for good.”

“I’m with no one…” I murmur.

“Work with me, baby…”

He flashes a smile.

“Let’s talk about you. Would you make me jealous?” I ask.

“I wouldn’t need to. It’s in you. As I said before…”

“I’m insatiable.”

He nods.

“Yes. Yes, you are.”

I observe him for a few silent seconds.

“You would love it,” I finally say.

Pursing his lips, he nods.

“We’d fuck like crazy,” he says quietly, and I suddenly feel an orb of tension spinning inside my abdomen.

I feel like moving, and I fidget a little. Without much space, I stop and suck in a long breath.

He watches the line of my chest moving up and down.

“It makes you uncomfortable,” he murmurs in the same smokey, raspy voice.
