Page 36 of When We Live

Holding me against his thrusts, my arms locked around his neck, he moves into me, giving me pleasure the best way he knows. Sultrily. Continuously. Creating a safe zone for me.

Everything we’ve been doing is now out in the open, leaving our audience speechless––or I think it does since we can’t hear a thing. It’s only the whisper of our breaths and the soft oceanic breeze rolling over the decks.

He fucks me against the wall, kissing me, my hair hiding us like a curtain, while blocking their lines of sight, provided that they look at us.

His tension builds up, and soon his rhythm increases.

He murmurs words in my ear.

“We’ll meet again,” he whispers and fucks me hard until I experience his orgasm.

He comes inside me, and my center throbs around him, my body nearing the point of swift relief when he pulls me up and sets me down.

And I have to lean against the wall, panting, my knees shaking, my chest heaving as I look at Alejandro.

He picks up his towel, runs it between my legs, and cleans himself up. His expression changes when he heads outside, maybe to the bathroom. He’s dark and disconnected.

The door opens and closes, and he’s out.

I drag my gaze around the room, and Francisco is gone. And just as I get ready to face Kai, my eyes fall on his empty chair.

What happened?

Shaking, I look at Roman.

Stretching a devilish smile, he takes my hand and invites me to the bed.

“You’ve got your answer, beautiful woman,” he says, nudging me to sit on the edge.

I slide back into the pillows while he starts unbuttoning his shirt. He sheds his pants and yanks his dress shirt off.

Soon, his clothes fall to where Kai used to sit and watch.

Roman is built like a Greek god with broad shoulders and chest, ancient writings inked on his skin, his V-shaped torso leading to muscular legs, and a hard shaft pointing down.

He grabs it and rubs it before casually sliding onto the bed next to me, bringing a different energy to me. Calmer and less aggressive, the entire vibe he gives is different.

He seems in no rush.

There are no more walls to tear down. Besides, I’m already in his bed.

He rests his hand on my hip when I shift to face him.

He’s propped on his side, his fingers trailing to my thigh before wedging between my knees and moving up slowly.

“You know what happens when you have a few men competing for you…?” he murmurs, his eyes glinting with amusement. “It’s all a game until it isn’t,” he says, lifting his gaze to me and locking my eyes, slowly nodding.

A smirk creases his lips.

“You’ve gained a lot and lost a lot this evening.”

“Who’s idea was it?” I ask, my eyes steady on his.

He centers his focus on me, broadening his smile.

“It wasn’t Kai’s idea. I wanted to get a taste of you, so I asked him.”

“He said yes? Right from the get-go?” I ask, intrigued.
