He shudders, and at my back, I feel North do the same. Both men stay rooted inside me as their cocks pulse softly in the aftermath of their orgasms, and I go limp against Raven’s chest, enjoying the feeling of being held between two of my mates.

For a very long time, none of us move. North’s upper body against my back is a bit heavy, but he must not be leaning all of his weight on me, because he’s not crushing me. It feels nice to be sandwiched between the two men as their cocks slowly begin to soften inside me, our breathing syncing up into one even, steady rhythm.

NowI feel tired. It felt impossible for me to fall asleep earlier, but now my eyelids seem to weigh a ton. My mind is blissfully blank, and I can feel a small smile curving my lips as I begin to drift off.

North kisses my shoulder, and Raven presses soft kisses to my jaw and lips. As they each pull out of me, settling me into the space between their bodies on the mattress, North murmurs softly in his deep voice.

“Sleep, baby girl. We’ve got you.”

And I know he’s right. That he’s telling the truth.

Theydohave me.

So I let myself sleep.

CHAPTER15

When I wake up, I find that Cain’s elbow is mashed into my side.

I’m not sure how that happened, seeing as when I fell asleep it was just with Raven and North, and Cain wasn’t there, but hey, I’m not complaining. I’m getting to wake up with all three of them with me again, and it feels right and natural. It feels like how it should be.

The other three are asleep, so I take just a small moment to revel in the sensation of contentment that’s coating me like a warm blanket. I mean, compare this to the first time I woke up in bed with all three of them.

That time, I panicked. I was worried about what I’d just done and what it all meant. And then they told me I was their mate, and, uh… I did not handle that well.

But now, waking up with them, I just feel happy. I feel like this is how it’s supposed to be. I want to wake up like this with them every morning, and I just hope that I can make it happen.

Hell, who cares about hoping? I’m going to makesurethat this is how it’ll be. This is how it will turn out.

I lie there for another moment, just basking in the feeling of being surrounded and warm, and loved. Yes. Loved. It’s something I’ve almost forgotten about and now that I’ve got it, I’m not ready to let it go, not ever. And it’s not just that I’m loved. It’s that I love them, too. It’s that I feel for them the way that they feel for me.

We’re going to stop Roanac, and we’re going to—oh!

Like a sack of bricks dropped right on my face, I remember what today is. It’s break-in day. The day that we need to sneak in ahead of Donovan so that we can lay a trap for him.

We don’t have any other backup plan, and if this goes wrong, we’re so fucking screwed. We’ll be in trouble with the supernatural and the non-magical law enforcement agencies, probably even the governments since we’re American citizens and we’ll be in England, and Donovan will undoubtedly try to get revenge, and it’ll send up a huge flare to Roanac as to where we are and that’ll seal all of our fates.

It’ll be a huge fucking mess, in other words.

I sit up and take a few deep breaths. Okay. I can do this.Wecan do this.

The men wake up as I get out of bed. I don’t know if it’s just me moving around or if it’s the mate bond letting them know that I’m up, but either way, I’m glad that they’re awake. We need to get ready and we can’t afford to be late or to mess this up.

“Today’s the day,” I announce, forcing cheer into my voice.

Raven slides right out of bed, kissing my hair as he goes, and heads to the kitchen to start cooking breakfast.

The men all look extremely serious as they go about their day, getting ready. I can tell that they’re nervous. I don’t know that I wouldn’t have been able to tell that when we first met. They all seemed so capable, so on top of things all the time, that I didn’t think they could ever really be nervous about anything. But now I know them better.

And hey, I’m nervous too, but I’m not going to show them. I’m the break-in expert here! I have to be confident.

Once we’ve eaten and prepared, we double-check the time and open up the portal. Because of the time difference, it’s already late at night in London. Perfect.

We can only portal to the street outside the Shard, so from there, Cain and Raven fly North and me up to the top. The plan is for me to phase through the glass windows on the floor above the magical one so that we can then break in from there.

But when Cain lifts me up to the glass, and I try to phase through, nothing happens.

Shit.
