“No. God, no. You don’t deserve anyone. Not until you learn to grow the hell up and realize how to be a man.”

He sighs, a look of devastation on his face and at this moment I’m actually feeling sorry for him. “Georgina, I’m sorry you had to find out like that.”

I nod, there’s no way he’s going to change. “As I said, are we done?” I’m no longer interested in this conversation.

“Not by a fucking long shot.”

I close my eyes at the sound of Dad’s voice. “Shit.” I mutter. I thought he was still on the phone. Opening my eyes, I see Derek swallowing hard, sheer terror written on his face.

“Georgie, go to your room,” Dad demands, nudging me out of the way so that he can get to Derek. Within seconds his fingers curl around the neck of Derek’s t-shirt, lifting him off the ground. “You sack of shit, I should fucking kill you.” The anger’s so clear to hear.

“I’m so sorry,” Derek mumbles.

I rush over to them. “Leave him, it’s not worth it.” Dad doesn’t let go and I pull at his hands trying to get him to release Derek. “Dad,” I whisper. “Please just let him go.”

I place a hand on Dad’s back gently stroking it, hoping that I can get him to calm down. As soon as I touch him, his body tenses, heat rushes through me. “Fuck,” he growls, releasing him. Derek falls to the ground and scrambles to get up. “Leave and don’t fucking ever come back.”

“I really am sorry, Georgina,” Derek says, giving me one last look before running to his car.

I turn and walk back into the house, shocked that he even came here. I have no idea how he knew where I lived. The front door closes behind me and I continue walking toward the stairs, I’m not in the mood to have an argument.

“Georgie.” His voice is gruff and his tone is one not to be ignored.

Sighing, I come to a stop, turning around to face him. He’s walking toward me. “Yeah, Dad?”

His eyes rake over me, I’m wearing a mint green summer dress but the way he’s looking at me, it’s as though I’m naked. “Are you okay?”

I frown. “Why wouldn’t I be?”

He narrows his eyes as he stops just inches away from me. “Three days ago you found out that he was cheating on you. You loved the bastard.”

I shake my head. “No, Dad, I didn’t, but I’m fine, no need to worry.”

He scoffs, “No need to worry?” He shakes his head. “This act you’ve got going on, Georgie, it isn’t working. I can see through it.”

I raise a brow. “It’s not an act.”

“I fucked up with you. You’re eighteen, baby girl.” My heart races at him calling me that. It’s new, he’s never used it before. “I’m going to make it right.”

“Oh and how do you plan on doing that?” I ask with a smirk, I know that I'm goading him but I don't care.

His lips just inches from mine. "Baby girl, you don't want to play this game." He promises me.

I stare at him, "And what game is that?"

He smirks. "The one where you pretend you don't want me."

I raise a brow. "Awful cocky aren't you,Daddy?"

Within seconds his lips are on mine, hot and heavy. His hand snakes around my waist, bringing me into his body. His tongue sweeps into my mouth, the taste of mint and coffee mixed into one. This kiss is the best I've ever had, there's absolutely no doubt about it.

My hands roam his body, feeling the tense muscles beneath my palms. Moaning as his hands grip my ass cheeks.

I whimper when he pulls away. "You want me, Georgie, there's no fucking doubt about it." His chest is rising and falling rapidly, his arm still around my waist. "I'm not going there yet."

I pull back as though I've just been burned. His eyes narrow on me as I take a step backward. "So what? You kiss me just for the fun of it?" My bitch façade firmly back in place. "Didn't realize you were cruel." I turn from him, needing to put some distance between us.

A hand clamps down around my wrist, he tugs me back toward him. Once again my body crashes against his. "No, fuck no." He growls, "Don't do this, baby girl. You want the world to think nothing affects you. Then by all means show them, not with me."
