“Like what we were talking about at the diner. What happens to Tom and Lottie after the book ends?”
Lincoln had no idea. Maybe Tom actually said the words,“I love you.”
“Hey, what made you move back to Bliss Cove?” He set the paperback down.
“A thousand reasons.” Jake arranged a stack of hardcovers on a shelf. “And Callie noticed my button fly. That should’ve been good enough, huh?”
Lincoln and Sam both grinned.
“Sam!” The front door flew open. Brooke rushed in, her face flushed and eyes wide. “You won’t…oh.”
She caught sight of Lincoln and skidded to a halt. “Where’s Grace?”
“At rehearsal, probably.” Unease filled his veins. “Why?”
“What is she going to do?”
“About what?”
“Oh my god.” Brooke pressed a hand to her chest. “You don’t know.”
