Matthew smiled sheepishly as he locked eyes with Dylan who returned the grin now, looking quite relieved.
“No more hiding it, got it?” Diane said firmly.
“Look at all this romance blossoming, I love it,” Hadley said with delight as she beamed at all of us and clapped her hands together. “Lily and her hellhounds, you two, I wonder who’s next?” She said playfully as she nudged Diane’s shoulder.
Diane just groaned as she shook her head in dismay.
“Maybe even you, Paris?” Hadley suggested, and Paris gave her a dark look.
“I’m curious though… whose bottom?” Wayne said as a wicked smile broke across his face.
“Wayne,” Paris groaned at her brother.
“It’s a legitimate question, jeez,” he said with an eye roll.
“I think it’s Dylan,” Thomas stated. “I’ve grown up with Matty, he seems more of the dominant type,” he snickered.
“You’d be surprised,” Matthew muttered, and Thomas just laughed.
“Damn, well you learn something new every day,” Thomas chuckled.
I dove back into my meal, glad to see that Matthew and Dylan seemed relieved as they continued lunch, like a huge weight had been lifted off their shoulders. No one seem to care at all about their sexuality or the fact that they were together.
At least no one had discovered what the conversation had been brought on by.
But as I ate, I felt Jack and the others watching me carefully, and he even rested his hand on my thigh, making my cheeks burn.
