When I emerged from the bathroom, my four guys were spread out. Chum and Bug were on one bed, lazing as they watched some documentary, and Jack was sprawled out on the other bed, while Creeper kept a lookout.

I joined Creeper by the window, and he arched a brow at me as I looked out the small gap in the curtains.

“We’re safe,” he stated, but that didn’t alleviate the unease that still hung over me like a dark cloud.

“For how long,” I murmured, and he turned to face me.

“We’ll keep you safe, always,” he said firmly, those dark eyes locking onto mine. The intensity in them had my breath catching, and I just stared at him.

There was nothing he wouldn’t do for me. I knew that. I could feel it, wrapping around me like a promise as he just stared at me. They were always by my side, willing to move mountains for me and lay their lives on the line.

“Thank you,” I breathed as I rested a hand on his chest, gratitude swelling inside me.

He shuddered, and I felt the electric tingle ripple up my arm and flood my body as those eyes flickered with a fire that made my stomach flutter.

Something inside me was stirring, something that had sparked to life when I’d slain Raphael. A power that had been simmering inside me.

Creeper stiffened, a low rumble emanating from his chest as I stared at him, my heart racing.

“Lily?” The tone of Jack’s voice only made my skin prickle, the underlying growl sparking a flame within me.

They could feel it too, they had to. I knew they could.

“Creeper,” I breathed as I moved to press my body against his, his back snapping straight as if I’d shocked him.

His nostrils flared as the fire exploded in his eyes, burning passionately as I leaned up.

His mouth met mine in a sizzling kiss, one that had heat wrapping around me, twisting through my very being as I ached for him.

I needed him, more than I’d ever needed anything in my life as I drank him up, tasting him over and over as his hands moved to my waist, his fingers bruising my skin as he gripped me tight.

I ran my fingers through his hair, desperate to swallow him up, unable to get enough of him as I moved him away from the window.

I guided him to the bed Jack had been on, which he’d now vacated, having risen to come to me.

Now he just stood by the bed, frozen in place, his eyes ignited, along with Bug and Chum.

“Only Creeper,” I gasped out the command, knowing they’d obey.

Creeper growled against my lips, and I smirked as I pushed him back onto the bed.

A calm washed over me as I gazed down at him, my eyes drifting down to his excitement.

“Is this what you want as well?” I clarified, and Creeper’s jaw ticked as fisted his hands and he nodded slowly, those blazing eyes swallowing me up.

I let my golden fire burst forth, wrapping and twisting around our bodies carefully, leaving the bedding unscathed as I burned away our clothing. All that remained after a few moments was our exposed bodies as my flames dispersed.

I quivered as I took in his erection, standing tall and ready before me.

My men growled around me, but I cast them a sideways glance, daring them to disobey.

Jack gritted his teeth as he jutted his chin out but didn’t budge.

I had no idea how I was affecting them like this, but all I knew was that I wanted them, and I needed them.

But Creeper… I needed him the most right now.
