I had heard a text alert, so I went to check it while he recovered.

From: Unknown Number… It was me. You did see me.

My phone slipped out of my hand as I began to shake. Jamie came up behind me, wrapping his arms around me.

“Kaitlyn,” I said in barely more than a whisper.

“Stella, what’s happening right now?”

Turning around, I lock eyes with my new husband.

“She was there. She was at our wedding.”

Jamie picks up my phone and looks at the text message.

“I’m calling my lawyer.”

I watch Jamie pace with angry eyes as I listen to his side of the conversation.

“I want to know what her fucking game is. I want her medical records. I want it proven that this is not my child as soon as legally possible. I’m tired of this.”

Jamie’s eyes radiate a heat I’m not sure I’ve ever seen. He pushes me up against the wall.

“Take your panties off, Stella.”

“Jamie, talk to me.”

“Stella, please. I need you so much right now. I need to lose myself in you.”

I slipped off my panties I had put on.

He pinned me against the wall and kissed me with such force. I could feel his pain. As he lifted me, I wrapped my legs around his waist. He lifted me onto his cock. His hands on my ass, gliding me up and down his shaft. He had me so close to the edge. But as he finished inside of me, his words had me coming undone in the worst way possible.

“Stella, I’m so sorry. Please don’t leave me. I will fix this. Don’t go. Please, just don’t.”

I looked up at my husband’s face as a tear trickled down his face.

He thinks I’m going to run. And why wouldn’t he?

As he set me back onto the floor, I reached up and stroked the stubble on his face.

“Our vows meant something to me. I’m not going anywhere unless it’s with you. I love you. I’m not running. Always and forever, Jamie.”

“Forever and always, Stella.”

“It doesn’t matter how you say it. It means I’m never leaving you.”

The End.
