“Oh, wow,” she says as I pull out of her tight heat.

“You are so fucking perfect, Brenna. You know that don’t you?”

“I do now,” she says hopping off the couch and kissing me. “Let’s eat,” she says pulling her robe closed again.

“Yes, let’s,” I say to her, tucking my yet to go down cock back into my boxers. I follow her into the kitchen, and we eat while talking about our lives.

Brenna Murphy is mine… Who could blame me for claiming her for myself?

One Month Later

Except for work, Seamus and I have spent every waking moment together as well as the not awake moments too. Except for our first night together, we’ve been at his house. It’s bigger and so cute. It’s like a time capsule. You can really feel the love in the house, as weird as that sounds. I’ve made myself at home as he suggested, and I haven’t looked back. Meeting Seamus was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I’ve been sick with a stomach bug for the last week, but I can’t afford to stay home from work. Looking at the calendar on my desk, I realize that I’ve completely missed my period, by two weeks. Oh shit. I know he’s been taking me bare every single day, but I never thought it would happen so soon. I am putting the cart before the horse though. On my lunch break, I head to the pharmacy and buy way more pregnancy tests than I need to be sure.

In the bathroom at the bank, I take out one of the tests and stare at it. Do I really want this? I know the answer before I finish asking myself the damn question. Yes, of course I do. We haven’t said I love you yet, but I know he does. I have almost said it a million times in the last month, but I didn’t want to be the first one to say it, but now I think I have to. I take the test and I am not surprised to find the two pink lines. I’m going to be a mom. I am beyond excited about that, but I don’t know how he’ll feel about it. He’s said some things about it in the heat of the moment but never out of it. I mean he must have anticipated this outcome, but anticipation and confirmation are two totally different things. I don’t know what the etiquette is here, but I’ll just figure it out along the way.

Back at the teller counter, I can’t focus on my tasks and in this business, mistakes aren’t good, so I take the rest of the day off. I wander around downtown until I end up on the train to my parents, Keegan and Harvey’s, house which is by Fenway. My beloved Sox play there, and I try to go to as many home games as possible, but I don’t always get a chance to. It’s the one thing my dad and I have in common. My mom on the other hand is my best friend. I tell her everything, so it’s no wonder I find myself in front of my parent’s house. I only moved out when I was eighteen because I didn’t want to be a burden. I have six younger siblings ranging in age from six months to seventeen. My mom didn’t want me to go but I knew I had to. You could say that having such a large family prepared me for having kids. I know I can handle anything because of the role model I had in my mom.

“Mom?” I call after using my key to enter the house.

“In here, Brenna,” she calls out from the living room. My four-year-old brother, Danny, sprints toward me naked as a jaybird. I grab him up.

“Benny, put me down. I gotta hide. I don’t want no bath,” he says emphatically. You’d think he was asked to eat every vegetable ever.

“No bath?” I question, laughing.

“No,” he pouts.

“How about we play battleship in the tub and keep mom happy at the same time?”

“Battleship? Okay we can do that,” he says.

“I got him, mom,” I call out and head down the hallway with him.

“Thank you, Brenna. I am about to lose my mind with that kid,” she says laughing.

“It’s all good,” I tell her, taking Danny into the bathroom. I run him a bath and sit on the counter while he plays with his toys. After, I help him get dressed in clothes that he picked out, a Spiderman shirt and a pair of X-Men pajama pants. They totally don’t match, but he looks adorable. We go into the living room. He’s watching cartoons while I hold Sarah, the baby. All of my other siblings are at school and my dad is at work, so it’s just the four of us.
