Before I even met her, I felt for her. There was something about her situation, something that I couldn’t get off my mind.

I can’t stop imagining what she looks like naked, what her skin would feel like under me. I imagine sliding into her over and over. I adjust my cock before speaking again.

“Your pre-op medical clearance forms from your optometrist and general practitioner are all in order. For the next week, I will perform some tests on you to ensure you can handle the surgery. We will schedule the surgery for Friday. If everything this week goes well, we will still be on target for…” She moves her hair back from her face and I lose my train of thought. She has distracted me to the point of not knowing what the fuck I was just talking about. I would think that doesn’t bode well for a patient when your doctor can’t finish a fucking sentence.

“Dr. Bryant? Hello? Did you leave?” she asks as she frantically reaches out for me. Without thinking, I grab her hand midair. She breathes a sigh of relief. “What will we be on target for?” I have to shake my head to clear it.

“The surgery, Cathi.” I clear my throat again. She hasn’t let go of my hand yet. I can’t help rubbing my thumb across the back of her hand in slow circles. Her breath hitches.

“And, uh, what does the surgery entail?” I like that I have flustered her just as much as she’s flustered me.

“For your stage 0 bilateral intraocular retinoblastoma, I am going to use a form of laser surgery. There are other avenues we can take if that doesn’t work, but we don’t need to think about those right now.”

“And what kind of tests will you be running?” she asks like a professional. I hate that she even has to go through this at all.

“An MRI, a CT Scan, and an ultrasound of the eyes. Nothing strenuous at all.” She had looked concerned before I explained what I’d be doing, but I think I managed to reassure her.

“Okay, that doesn’t sound too awful.”

“Not at all. You are in good hands with me,” I say.

“I don’t doubt that at all.” she smiles at me causing my heart to skip a beat. I’ve never given any woman a second thought, barely even a first one, and for this woman, I am willing to put it all on the line.

“So why don’t you tell me a little about you?”

“Like what?”

“Anything at all,” I say.

“Ok, I love baseball. Red Sox all day. I hated school, but I love sports.”

“Me to, but I support the White Sox.”

“Well, we can agree to disagree,” she says laughing.

“Anything else?” I ask.

“Not really. What about you?”

“Well, I’ve been a surgeon for five years. Eyes are my specialty.”

“I figured. I should probably get back to my mom. What time should I come in tomorrow?”

“I’ll have my scheduler set you up on your way out.”

“Sounds good.” She outstretches her hand for me to shake, which I do. We linger like we don’t want this meeting to end. I clear my throat again.

“Would you be interested in having dinner with me tonight?” I ask. I am not sure why, but once it was out there it feels so right.

“Um, yeah. That would be nice,” she says smiling. “We are staying at the Loews Hotel, downtown. Room 928.”

“Excellent. I will pick you up at eight.”

“I am looking forward to it.” She leans in and her lips softly touch mine, stars explode behind my eyes. She pulls away and I help her down the hallway and back to the waiting room with her mother.

Thank fuck she said yes because I am suddenly not above a little kidnapping to make her mine and if that doesn’t go against my “do no harm” oath, I don’t know what does. Surprisingly, I am okay with that.

Good Lord, what has this woman done to me?

Chapter 3

Cathleen

We leave the doctor’s office and head back to the hotel. I can’t believe the traffic here. Thank God taxis only charge by the mile and not by the fucking hour. By the time we get back to the hotel, I have less than an hour to get ready. There was a major accident on the interstate and not even my music could calm my nerves. I can’t believe that I said I would go out to dinner with him. Before I left, he told me his name was Wayne, but I find that I like the tabooness of calling him Doctor so much it’s making my pussy wet. There is something hot about the fact that I have no idea what he looks like that’s making me feel like I have a fever. He could be anyone. Look like anything and it doesn’t even matter to me.
