“You’ve got my number, snowboard guy. Aspen is a small town, so we’re bound to bump into each other one way or the other.”

“I might do that,” he says, following me outside. Before my feet hit the deck, a car is waiting for me in the drive.

Jesse growls, looking at the sleek car. He spins me around and smashes his mouth against mine. My toes curl, and my hands travel into his hair. He grabs my ass and pushes me against his never ending hard on. The kiss is scorching hot, and I can’t help it when I tease him with my tongue until he devours me. Pushing me against the railing of his porch, he assaults my mouth with his kiss, holding my hands captive behind my back. He moans in my mouth when I pull back.

“Fuck, Ace, stay,” he whispers, resting his forehead against mine. “Don’t go,” he says, locking eyes with me.

We both look up when Shane honks his horn. Jesse glances over my shoulder and swears when a car door closes.

“You okay, Lemmy?” Shane asks.

Jesse takes a step away from me. “Lemmy?”

I shrug, picking my bag that fell off my shoulder from the porch deck. Jesse shakes his head, smiling, rubbing his thumb over his bottom lip where I nipped him.

“Fuck, you’re named after the singer from Motörhead, aren’t you?” He chuckles.

“I told you, you wouldn’t believe me,” I say, walking backwards.

“Damn, that’s hot,” he says, resting his arms on the railing.

When I say hello to Shane, he gives Jesse the death stare. Getting into the driver’s seat, he lowers the car window. “Are you getting in, hon?”

“Hey, Ace,” Jesse calls out.

“Yeah?” I ask, turning. The butterflies flutter in my stomach when he scratches his stubble with his knuckles.

“I’m around whenever you want to call me an asshole again,” he jokes, waggling his eyebrows, resting his elbows on the railing, looking every bit the outlaw snowboarder I met days ago. I grin and wink while Shane turns the ignition, and the engine of his Lexus roars to life.

“See you around, snowboard guy,” I say, opening the car door and getting in.

Shane reverses out of the drive, all the while muttering under his breath.

Jesse gives me a two-finger wave and keeps staring at the car until we turn a corner, and I don’t know why I keep looking over my shoulder, hoping he’ll come after me.
