“Semantics, Emma,” Elias warned.

“So, on a really good day, would I get double rewards?”

A huge grin broke out across Luke’s face. “She’s catching on quickly.”

“I mean, double the rules should also mean double the pleasure,” I stated matter-of-factly, but there were butterflies doing swan dives in my tummy as I stared at the two of them.

“I’m sure we can work it out, sweetheart.” Elias winked.

“Are you sure you want me involved in your relationship, though?” I voiced something that had been stuck in my head for a few days.

“Our relationship, Emma,” Elias corrected. “All three of us.”

“Don’t let a newly minted status fool you. Ihavebeen in charge since moving Lee here,” Lucas added. “I’ve changed the structure slightly, added a few rules, and uh, well, some other things we hadn’t done before.”

It was so cute to see Lucas a little flustered; his charm could make my panties fall off. Glancing at Elias, I squirmed against the chair. His gaze could light my panties on fire. I needed to get back on topic.

“I don’t want to do this today,” I announced, as if we could put it off.

The two men shared a look, and then Elias leaned forward, taking my hand in his.

“You already agreed to two simple rules; we’re just firming that up so that you’ve got structure as well as things to do when you’re here all by yourself. I’m trying to limit the number of extra shifts while Luke is away, but it can’t always be helped.”

I could listen to Elias read the phone book and be turned on. His British accent typically came out more when he was irritated, but the soft, yet stern cadence had me drooling. I also wanted to poke him and see if he would respond.

“Whatever.”

Why had I said that? My eyes darted to Luke, who was shaking his head.

“Come here, Emma.” Elias released my hands. Pushing his chair away from the table, he motioned for me to stand.

“No, thank you. I’m happy on this side of the table.”

“We can continue this conversation with you sitting on my lap, or we can have it with you draped over it. I’m happy with either outcome, so make your choice carefully.”

I looked straight at Lucas and pouted. “But, Daddy! I didn’t even do anything.”

“Oh, darling.” He clucked his tongue against the roof of his mouth. “No, you will not pit us against each other. It’s best to do what you’re told.”

The synchrony of their manners, movements, and ideas were amazing. They had spent a lot of time thinking about what it would be like to take care of someone like me.

“You’re both taking this quite seriously,” I lamented with a sigh. “Why am I worth all this trouble?”

Elias crossed his arms over his chest. “I promise to answer your questions, sweetheart, but you’ve got three seconds to walk over here or I’m going to fetch you.” His accent thickened on the last two words. He wasn’t playing. “You won’t like what happens after that.”

“I might.” A smirk twisted up my lips. Elias shot me an authoritative glare before standing up and rounding the table. I jumped to my feet, forgetting the injury. “Ow!”

“Did you hear anything pop or snap?” He gently pushed me to sit on the table, inspecting my ankle and foot.

“No, Daddy.”

Rotating my ankle slowly, he felt around the joint and along my toes. “Does it hurt more than it did this morning?”

“Nuh-uh.”

“If that changes, make sure you tell me.”

“I will. I promise.” I only had a moment to admire his gorgeous, deep black-brown eyes before he slid me across the table to the other side. Luke cocked an eyebrow as he collected me. He draped my body across Elias' hard thighs and the reality of my situation sank in. Sighing, I realized both of them would follow through with promises. Four quick slaps bounced off each of my bottom cheeks. They stung but weren’t terrible.
